It just hit me: When the pharao is empowering the monuments in the cinematic, no sunlight is displayed on the monuments. This is because the programming [triggers] in the map editor is (to my knowledge) not advanced enough to create an interaction with a unit that isn't spawned when the scenario begins (e.g it is not possible to spawn a ship, and then use triggers to cause an army to garrison in that ship; the ship has to be there in the first place). As a result, what you see here is not actually the pharao empowering the building; he is simply doing the empowering animation (with no real effect, purely visual). The sun does appear over the barracks, since that building already exists when the scenario begins.

Adding up, Hersirs generate favor with the gods. I feel it was necessary since in multiplayer any other faction had the advantage of having a myth unit or two if rushed for a raid, whereas norse would be on the disadvantage.

Kastor was awesome in this game. If the Gods didn't want the Atlanteans worshipping the Titans, they should have looked after them after the destruction of Atlantis.

not gonna lie, seeing Osiris was a hype moment of childhood. The entire egypt arc was centered around reviving an actual major god. And to actually see a god as an in-game unit was a cool concept. Shame we didn't get to control Osiris in a mission tho.
