I remember at first I tought the Norse are bullshit ... later in multiplayer matches against my brother and father I was able to invade their Island and build barracks and walls to sustain my army on their land. Very agile those Norse :D

@@threeofakind9933 not exactly safer because norse defense is so bad, greeks can use pestilence in norse foward base and win, or even restoration. Later they can use ceasefire to block flaming weapons or frost. The egyptians has free shooting towers and ranged priests and pharaoh and a free myth unit to defend so early. The atlanteans can make army faster than norse because of better economy and use shockwave to win a battle, also stymphalian birds rocks

The best thing is that infantry can build. You don’t have to stop a villager to stop collecting resources just to go to a location and build watch towers or barracks and then travel back to resume their duties. The army can do all that while they march and explore the map.

Same here. Many people undervalue the Norse, but a good Norse player can beat anyone, even in the late game. If Loki had Ragnarok, he would be especially OP :D

@@JeanBaptisteEmanuelZorg I am a little confused on how to answer your comment so I'll provide a little research here. The "101" system denotes how advanced a certain course is in college (at least in the United States). The numbers reveal three things. The first number shows the class level of the course (Freshman = 1, Sophomore = 2, etc.). The second number denotes the field of study (this varies but English could be 0, Math could be 1, etc.), and the third number is the number that class is in the department. This system varies from college to college, but generally "101" is always a basic college course. People started calling tutorials (and whatnot) names like "Education 101," "Technology 101," etc. for their own use. Now to the context of this video: KZbin tends to be finnicky with the timer by a couple of seconds, so a duration of "1:01" for a tutorial that predates KZbin by several years is all-the-more interesting.

Adding up, Hersirs generate favor with the gods. I feel it was necessary since in multiplayer any other faction had the advantage of having a myth unit or two if rushed for a raid, whereas norse would be on the disadvantage.

"There are a few things to understand when playing the Africans. The Hexing Scout is able to curse many enemy units at once, making them much weaker. They can also curse enemy buildings, making them operate much slower. This unit can also set traps that curse enemy units walking into it. I always thought the Norse should have been called the Germans considering that they were more or less an amalgamation of the many Germanic peoples who worshipped Odin, Thor, Freyja etc not just the Norse who we know as the Vikings.
