Hello, yes, that's fine. However, good practice dictates it would be best to not run through two preamps unless someone is doing it for a specific effect. Otherwise go into the line input on the second channel if possible. Thank you!

You can play anything on it. A lot of people are saying 80's. Nooooooo..... whatever your style? There's no reason this processor cannot give you what your looking for!! Take the time to learn it, (not that hard with practice) and it's not only Amps, it's complete pedal variations as well. Chorus, flange, OD, various distortion, delay and more. I've gotten tones out of this that were "Heavy as F@#%" and more. Cool tuner built in, bank/save all your creative inputs and your golden. It's really worth every penny. The best part is, I was able to get rid of all the hassle of gigging with extra bags and cases of gear lol. I would recommend this to any guitar player, no matter what your style.🤘🤘

Hello! The mic preamps in each series. So you will hear some differences in audio quality. From a processing standpoint, all of the mixers that were talked about our operating on a 96K sample rate FPGA processor so internal processing will be similar all lines.

Hello! The CQ platform has both android and iOS as well as Mac and PC software available. The SQ series has android and iOS as well as Mac and PC software. The Avantis series apps are only on iOS, but do have Mac or PC support for the Director software. Lastly, the dLive series apps are only on iOS, but they do also have Mac or PC support for the Director software. There are third-party applications like Mixing Station that are available on android and iOS that work with all of the Allen & Heath mixers.

Well the show was great but it was rather the awesome main cast and the well build story which attracted me. To be honest, the image wasn't that impressive to me. Too neutral and too realistic/analytic, no interesting "painting". Surely also some precent caused by the light concept and grading, not lens only. But I am familiar with what lenses do with the image and I am shooting for cinema, so I am rather after a real cinematic look. Maybe I am not the best to judge TV shows.

I love the 12V output, but at 0.5A it's not going to power many DJ consoles for a truly outdoor set up. I wish it had at least 1A output. Would I get there by connecting both 12V outputs in parallel so I keep 12V and double the amps? Making such cable would be fairly straight forward. Can someone shine some light on this for me please? Thank you.

Hello! Unfortunately, the output on the back is only meant to power a wireless microphone receiver. EV doesn’t recommend powering anything other than a wireless mic receiver. Let us know if you have any other questions!

@fullcompass I am in two heads about EV speakers. I'd buy the 12" EVERSE, but they told me they don't plan to make it in white.. I really don't understand why if the 8" comes in white!? So I am looking at the ELX200 in white, but I wish I was able to power it via 12V battery to make it portable. Do you know by any chance how much power they actually draw from the 220V input? I am sure the amp doesn't take 220V.

I use StreamYard to do live video podcasts and the guests I have on cannot hear what I’m playing through my phone, callers (via Bluetooth) and the sound effect presets…..is there a certain way that is supposed to be set up?

Hello Chris. I recently purchased an NC2. All the videos I have watched on YT make this board's piano patches sound fantastic, but out of the box mine did not sound very anemic. After a lot of experimentation, I discovered the filter setting was the issue. However, it appears to only be controlled in real time, by FX2 vertical, and either does not get stored when the patch is saved or is unpredictable at best. I've have seen a mod that should remedy this situation, by adding a switch and potentiometer to set the filter as desired. I'm unsure if the pot setting will be stored when the patches are saved. Even the Auto effects setting does not seem to retain the filter parameter. What am I missing? Why is this crucial adjustment not intuitive and easily stored?

When he said tame the highs BEFORE the amp, I hand clapped. Changing the eq in the amp changes the whole character and response of the amp. That’s not what you want! An eq in front of or behind the cabinet is the answer.

I'm trying to record audio onto my smartphone while video recording with it. Do I use the line out jack on the back of the Mixcast 4? Do I need an audio interface or any other gadget to make it work? Can I use a mixer? I tried connecting straight from the line out jack to my smartphone (with a usb-c adapter) but that doesn't work at all. I'm hoping you can help me with this. Thank you.
