Hum... You forgot a lot, for me. Kim Young Jeon or Angelo Parisi, for example, and a lot of others... Maybe Riner too... But it's only my opinion...

I did both wrestling and judo in high school. The judo team mightve been just shit but wrestling training was harder. YET, the techniques and skills as a 5th year judoka Im still learning new things and the techniques are much harder to learn.

OSS! ¡ Buenos diaz!😮😮

All depends on the individual, a good wrestler knows how to turn sport into a choke or a arm lock etc. Remember wrestlers in Europe were going no holds barred 100 years ago...both judo and wrestling are effective.

He was just blessed by nature, being a real giant, that's all. Not very interesting to watch, and surely quite low in technique level. On top of that he has proved multiple times his lack of sportsmanship... Real judo is another thing.

While Wrestling doesn't necessarily have zero submissions, Judo just seems to be able to defend well against those, plus, it has a lot more counter positioning and fight/game/play-ending submissions itself.

What was the actual training? I mean... we see them running up some stairs and then just training judo. Oh ok we also saw them wringing their t-shirts? They seem to follow the train the most judo people follow... crap video!

Shohei Ono is not only strong but also is beautiful in the manners he shows on matches. Ono shows respectful attitude to his opponents, taking time to bow deeply at the beginning and the end of matches. When Ono wins matches, he does not make flashy victory poses like fist pumping. Ono reminds us of the manners of old Judo-ka, which is forgotten in Japan, too.
