Thanks for the vid. Do you always need to draw 2 hero cards even if you have the max of 7 already in your deck? So if you have 7 already, do you draw 2 and discard 2 or do you just not draw because you already have 7?

Poison is actually damage equal to the poison counter every round, so Poison 3 would be 3 damage, then 2 damage then 1 damage, not 1 damage every round regardless.

Great tutorial and clear rules explanation. I started this game expecting logical, meaningful actions, but it turns out to be burdened by an overwhelming number of rules, a lengthy setup, and mechanical complexity. Unfortunately, I'll have to pass on it, which is a shame because the artwork is fantastic.

Question - That locked shield dice get exhausted on a shield bash when the combat is over does it go back to the locked spot or onto the main board and it needs to get rolled again?

Great playthrough, I kinda had a craving to play but decided to watch as I ran a game of Thunderbolt Apache Leader. Worked out perfectly. I also JUST NOW learned there is an expansion, so i'll be watching all your plays of it in anticipation of receiving the expansion tomorrow (irresponsible abuse of next day shipping HAHA).

I know this video is a bit old, but should the movements during the first battle cost 2 Dex each time, rather than 1? Isn't that what the encounter card said?

I noticed there are campaign/scenario cards that you didn't touch on, what or when do they come into play? Is it a different mode or something?

I didn't think that you started with the starting location key card. Something isnt quite right, but it may be the verbalization. When the lady flees, you take the nunber of stealth cards equal to the number of clue cards that you have. Then she takes her movement. So the number of movement spaces would be clue cards + 1. Do the numbers on the clue cards align with the dark lady or the other lady of the same suit? I thought that the reason why you are granted the same suit lady is to help control the challenge of the game.

I heard that it’s easier to play true solo or with three characters?

Thanks to you I clarify the token's setup ....I was struggling ,beating the "Dread",because I thought that starting tokens are limited 10 of tokens with the white halo around and I didn't added the power tokens except the yellow one. It was a nightmare and never managed to beat even the "Dread". Thanks again ,great playthrough .

Thank you for the playalong. One minor nitpick at 25:10, I don't think you can use the color under the black die to gain great hall benefit. However, challenges #4 does have a special rule that allows it.

I also think the prophecy card was worth 4 instead of three. It counts as a prophecy, should he included when counting.

I also think you dont have to match dwelling colors to adventure cards when scoring

Great video! I'm a huge fan of the HEBS games and loved seeing a quality video. You made all the right choices. I can't touch anything higher than the hard difficulty so well played! I think if you didn't make the error at the end in the might phase, you might have been in a bit more trouble though. I believe you were more or less evenly matched with the foe in terms of Might and Zeal, but you only had 2 turns to do all the damage before the Knights killed Mustafa! It have been extremely close. GG!

Took a yr off from this game but tempted to give it another shot

I'm just opening my box up now as I'm watching this video ,I'm confused. Wondering if I'm jumping the gun but why don't I have element tokens I.e moon , fire , air ect in the box?
