Hi. I would say maybe throw a little fertilizer on them....the arugula and the parsley. Maybe some fish emulsion if you have it but any nitrogen fertilizer would work. It could just be the fact that things grow slower in the winter also. N-E wayz haha. happy gardening.

Was it the bottom of the core ? I am interested in how you did this . What zone are you in ?
@rookiegardeningjournalАй бұрын
It was! I took the bottom of the core and sat it in water for a month or so? Basically, until it started forming roots. Then I transferred to soil. But you can also just place it in the soil without growing the roots in water first. The same thing will happen. I am in zone 8 A 🙂.
@pamelajefferies3197Ай бұрын
@ I thought I was in zone 8 for years but I might be in 7 . Tennessee

I just feel and look at the top layer. Most time you would stick your finger in the soil and you tell. If there is some moisture, just a lil watering. Also the plants could tell you, droopy leaves gives an indication also. This is just my way of watering, I'm sure there are plenty of ideas or methods.

I lost my whole summer garden because of this vey reason. I started gardening with with grandchildren starting off in July. I then planted more plants in August and had for personal reasons had to leave the garden unattended for about 3 weeks. I did a lot of research but it was to late. I have started my fall garden and I have taken spacing serious this time around. Blessings on your decision whether to separate them or not. I have been so busy that I have uploaded any videos to my channel yet.
