I remember you Shawkie from West Allis, Wisconsin. You knew Sam Mazlack back then.You burned me a bamboo flute. It used to have a strong smell I saw you again in California You were also friends with Ed Borkenhagen.

It's actually been over 40 years since Schawkie did that album, and yes it is still the best.

@@pabloeusebio1 Wow. I knew the song was older than me but my goodness. To be 37 and remember this song from 3yo. I wish there was more like this. It's so legend it took me almost 15 years to find. I had this song when it was still on cassette tape. Had it not been for KZbin I don't think I would have found it.

@@robknowledge8911 Yes I had it on cassette when I first got it in 1981. CDs weren't quite yet around. I am glad Schawkie converted it to digital. Many great early new age classics were never converted and will probably be lost forever before long.

@@robknowledge8911 Well a lot of the other musicians I have posted have a lot of other wonderful music but they are often different from each other. The other new age musicians I would most highly recommend are Deuter, Constance Demby, Don Slepian, Kitaro,, Dean Evenson, Aeolliah, William Aura, Singh Kaur, and many others. I think you should listen to some New Age channels to find what you like best.

@@pabloeusebio1 Sorry for late reply.. No the tv channel is not connected to any social media or promotions of any kind. Just songs I hear and look up on youtube, and several people had this song posted/uploaded and just clicked on yours first. Great channel you have with good vids though. : )

I think you mean you found Georgia Kelly. I just posted her music which she did some 40 years ago. I don't know what she's doing these days, but she was heavily involved in Petaluma politics for a long time.
