Mandara - Somei Satoh

Mandara was composed by Somei Satoh in 1986 as a response to an exhibition of Tibetan mandalas. He created it by over layering his own voice, sometimes up to 250 times. This music can be wonderful for meditation if you can allow it to absorb you, especially while viewing the mandalas in the video. This song is from Somei Satoh's album "Mandara Trilogy".

this might be the most important piece of music and sound i've ever heard in my life. i cannot begin to describe the level of joy, freedom and liberation of my consciousness i experienced while meditating to this wonderful world of auditory bliss. baraka is a gem that practically divided my life into 2 chapters. i do realize it's my own mind that initiated this change of view, but the contribution of baraka was essential, i feel. bless all the people, all the animals, all plants, mother earth and the entire force of life itself.
