I just don't know why the REMASTERED versions of CRYSIS games were made. NONE, I repeat, NONE, generally, LOOK better than the originals. In regards to the original games (not the remastered ones), only the first game to me was SPECIAL. To me, CRYSIS 1 is a masterpiece in all departments and has aged pretty well; many actual games don't get to look as good as it, with 17 years old now (2024). Crysis 2 was OK, but nothing as outstanding as Crysis 1. The 3rd Crysis is just absolutely discardable, honestly. It plays well, but... it lacks the addiction and interest of the 1st one. That's why I still play Crysis 1 today (like I did back in 2007) and I still enjoy it A LOT! That's an absolute MASTERPIECE!

I just acquired a GTX 1660 Super, a GTX TITAN X, and a GTX TITAN (First Edition) from 2013. They add up to the RTX 3070, GTX 1060 6GB, and GTX 670 2GB (maybe not worth mentioning) that I already have. More GPUs, and a new playlist called GPU vs GPU is coming soon.

Sometimes I feel that the performance goes down when playing for a few minutes, I also have a 3070 only that with the textures high and shadows high all the rest at very high walks over 60 fps the same sometimes has a drop of fps. I think you need some optimization patch. 😢

*I put the textures at "medium" because in my testing, I notice that when you fast travel in the game, there's a possibility of losing performance (a good 10FPS and same thing with Forbidden West), which doesn't happen on medium or low textures. I don't know if it's an 8GB GPU problem or something else, but with medium settings, it's always stable and the performance does not drop. ALWAYS RESTART THE GAME AFTER CHANGING THE SETTINGS (better stability).

Is this real? From the DigitalFoundry video it would seem that the remaster should have way more foliage and detail. In this video the amount of foliage is identical. Or did DF compare PS4 base to remaster maxed out on PC? Because that would be the only reason. There's basically no visual difference (mostly colors look different) here but the performance is halved at 4k.

I just finished the game with my gtx 1060 6gb and the only thing I put on low were the shadows and shaders on medium, everything else on high. Vsync and supersampling disabled. 1080p. I added a mod from the nexus page and ok

I'm playing on HDD, but high quality texures sometimes does not load instantly. When I enter new area or get new scene, I get low quality texures and have to wait for some seconds for higher textures to appear I wonder if SSD have same issue.
