I think the old game just needs a Aloy hair and clothes high resolution texture mod and a water reflection mod. I wonder how many FPS that would cost?

Remastered only seems to be better in terms of cutscenes and water graphics, lighting is more realistic but it looks worse somehow. Just like in Until dawn remake, but its not nearly that bad in Horizon

Is this real? From the DigitalFoundry video it would seem that the remaster should have way more foliage and detail. In this video the amount of foliage is identical. Or did DF compare PS4 base to remaster maxed out on PC? Because that would be the only reason. There's basically no visual difference (mostly colors look different) here but the performance is halved at 4k.

I watched it too (It was John I believe), and it is the PS5 version with the 60 FPS upgrade that they compared. The PC version of zero dawn had already better visuals than the PS5 version. That's why the difference with the foliage is less noticeable when you compare both PC version.

I have a GTX-1650 with i7-10750H & 24GB RAM. Any suggestions which one will have better graphics - the original version or the remastered version. I know remastered has better graphics at max settings, but with this hardware I doubt it will run at max settings.

So, it's a comparison b/w Original at Max/High graphic settings v/s Remastered at (maybe) Medium/Low graphics settings.

@@rishabhsegal125 I recommend the original. The remastered is really demanding. Even with the minimum settings, you won't be able to have 60FPS, and FSR and Frame Gen are not smooth as in other games. You can check my benchmarks of the remastered, I tested the GTX 1060, which is a bit similar to your 1650, and the 1660 super, which is better. It will give you an approximative of the FPS you can have in the remastered. But I assure you, you will have a better and much more fun experience with the Original with your setup. And the Original will look better because you can crank up the graphics. *I just bought a GTX 1650 for future benchmark and comparison if it interest you.
