Recent research demonstrates that learning during sleep is possible, but that sleep-learning invariably produces memory traces that are consciously inaccessible in the awake state. Thus, sleep-learning can likely exert implicit, but not explicit, influences on awake behavior. So my advice is learn from this great app whilst you are awake❤

One complaint I have is the Spanish caption is displayed only briefly while English displayed a long time. This is a Spanish lesson, I think. Spanish words should display longer.

why isn't the verb conjugated? so instead of "El vivir en un pueblo poco" wouldn't it be "El VIVE en un pueblo poco?" Just trying to wrap my head around the whole verb conjugation thing haha

Ultraorbit I have my doubts. I think it’s mostly Latin American but not European. There are hints of European Spanish but if it’s a person from Spain, he has removed some of his European accent. Perhaps not all. I could be wrong.

Please explain to me why you use "pensé" instead of "pensaba" at 25:52 and 26:20. Wesley wouldn't have thought just once that his father died. It must have been a lingering thought which prevailed as he repeatedly asks his mother who they are running from. Shouldn't the imperfect tense be used here to conjugate the verb "pensar"? at 23:47, the word "thought" is translated as "creí" which is understandable since he believed his father had died in the car accident, but again, the preterite tense is being used. I am trying to learn Spanish and want to learn how to use words correctly and this just doesn't make sense to me. I am very confused.

Please change the approach in pronouncing words in English and Spanish. The exaggeration of English words, the rushing of Spanish words does not serve learners! They are not learning English, so wasting time listening to slowly pronounced English words is a pain. The pronunciation of Spanish words on the other hand is rushed. What is the point there?

There is no point of speaking the English words/ phrases slowly! People are learning Spanish, not English!. Meanwhile the pronunciation of Spanish words is rushed. Please see it from the perspective of the learners. Reverse the speed - faster in English and slower in Spanish

If I wasn't thinking the same thing, I'd be lying, but i was trying to stay grateful for the effort, but yeah, speak the Spanish slow, not the English.
