This is what happens when lan gets bored he normally takes everyone out normally but he realizes it's not fun so now he's going to just use program advances when he can or stupid stuff when he can to knock everyone out and make them realize that he's actually brilliant and dangerous

Nice work! Always love seeing these exact damage kills. It would've been interesting but probably terribly imbalanced if the meteors and laser were affected by attack-boosting chips. It does seem plenty strong as is.

AN EXACT DAMAGE KILL. Nailing this was kind of a math problem, lol. SunMoon PAs individual meteors only buff through FullSync/Rage but not through atk+ chips, interestingly enough. Only the final RedSun crash is affected by atk+ chips. RockArm3 = 160 damage SunMoon PA: Meteors 100 x 6 = 600 damage BlueMoon = 400 damage RedSun = 420 damage (the Atk+10 gets 2x from full sync so it's +20 total here) Vdoll = 420 damage Total = Exactly 2000 damage

Wood element is so OP in BN6. No flinching and dealing multiple hits is especially suitable for deadly combo.

Hell yea i love the deckbuilding in this game. Having to deal with a boss that nullifies like 80% of the strongest strategies is a great challenge, good run

Thanks! And 100% agreed. One thing I find EXTREMELY rewarding as I upload all these BN videos is that I've been able to come up with so many unique strats for each boss. Whereas as a kid, I just spammed Bodyguard PA, FullSync AirHockey, etc, this time I've been able to really sit down, plan and execute a different deletion method for nearly every boss in the series.

Beautiful! Elecman is a character I enjoy, but my usual strategy to get under 10 seconds when I’m playing a new game is counter and then hit him hard. But he’s a pain in the butt to counter, so watching his abuse is highly enjoyable
@rebycVG
@rebycVG Ай бұрын
You got that right re: his counter timing. My main goal here was to get a sub3 and aside from the RNG luck of the PA actually getting enough hits in, his starting movement + attack is also completely random.

I spent way too long on this awful thumbnail... ._. Anyways, today's rng roulette features me trying to kill Elecman with CornFiesta. I kept rerunning this fight because I specifically wanted a fast kill (this one was Sub3s) with lots of grass panels as the aftermath. There was one kill where only 2 panels were targeted but that didn't feel good enough for me. >_> According to the N1GP wiki: _"The first shot will target the panel directly in front if an enemy is there, otherwise targeting 2 panels ahead of the user. The next 15 shots have a 6/16 chance of firing on a panel with an enemy, and a 10/16 chance of avoiding an enemy. "_ I was shit at stats in undergrad so if you any of you wanna take a crack at the odds of this, I'd be very grateful, lol.

Sometimes, I just picked a route to just punish the boss regularly to flex as opposed to trying to figure out another speedrun strat to plow down a bosses inflated Hp. Like how a player would fight Data Org+Yozora in KH3 where its moment to moment situation of dodging, blocking and punishing an opponent's move instead of going for an AOE Firaga Spam+Ultima Shotlock+Grand Chef Flame Barrage. But for Bass XX in BN5, I can't just resist picking out any good possible damage dealer like the SP chip of Knightman, Meddy, Searchman, Gyroman or Delta Ray Edge alongside Blinder *, Guard 3 *, Hotbody 3 J and WoodNose 2 J while planning in advance what chip should I put next.

I am relatable too. I played all Battle Network and Star Force, and I am a more casual player who add any chips I like to the folder, which include various types of damages, rather than optimize it for quick battles.
@rebycVG

Don't get me wrong, my actual playstyle is definitely more of the latter, lol. I love experimenting around and using chips I wouldn't typically use for PVP like here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4vXf2qLrrKBoZYsi=N1EHJ3nSapmUbQyK I just figured more casual videos like this weren't that fun to watch for the youtube audience but evidently I was wrong!

Here's some technical info for ya: The first time BubbleStar hits, it puts the enemy in Stun state from Counter Hit (pause at 0:11) meaning Slashman won't be Frozen. Meaning I can't get the bonus damage for FreezeBreak. So what I have to do is time the counter hit with BubbleStar such that his landing panel (where he returns after warping to attack me) is dead center of the field.
@rebycVG
@rebycVG 2 ай бұрын
The easier thing to do is just Boomer into Boosted Boomer into Boomer. But I specifically wanted him to dash at me for the counter hit because I wanted to incorporate a double hit of one Boomer by his teleporting back into the path of the Boomer. If I did Boomer into Boosted Boomer with that aforementioned double hit it would have killed him too quickly and ruin the little mock PA thing I was going for, lol. As always, the annoying thing about this choreo was the RNG. Sometimes he dashes immediately at the start, sometimes he does his elec zap thing down the row, sometimes he just chooses to float around. I needed him specifically to only step down once and start dashing otherwise the Sub5 is lost.

Great work! Blinder seems to work wonders against Bass. The fact that it forces him to fire his Buster in predictable patterns is neat.
@rebycVG
@rebycVG 2 ай бұрын
Hah, I actually specifically choreo'd the Blinder here instead of Invis because I wanted to "work" for it a bit. Invis is a free dodge but Blinder _feels_ a bit more intentional, even if the outcome is the same with respect to "dodging" the air buster barrage.

What the, this isn't from MMBNLC... Spirit suggested showcasing how Larkman's navichip can hit twice on a specific panel. Problem is? You need to share that same panel with your target when it happens. (I pulled off a similar trick in this ONE SHOT KILL video, also on BN5's BassXX here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4OofHygf66Lh9U) At full power, LarkmanSP does 270 + 60 from doublepoint + 30 from Atkplusthirty + 20 from Naviplus20 + 20 from Naviplus20 = 400 damage! At the intersection, that's another hit, so x2 is 800 damage. And if you're Full Synchro? 1600..! For fun, I threw in a VDoll to add another 800 bringing the grand total to 2400 DAMAGE. More than enough to one shot every boss but Bass. ...But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted more. ._. Then I remembered that the DarkPhoenix Giga chip _recycles_ navis. So there's another 1600 right there! But that's a bit _too much_ damage. I like my deletions to be as clean, tight, and fast as possible. Soooo, I just kept retrying until I got the perfect amount of hits to get an Exact Damage Deletion. No more, no less. Boosted LarkmanSP: 1600 DeathPhoenix's weird worm snake things: 400 each (2 hits) LarkmanSP Recycled: 1600 Total: 4000 HP PS -- LarkmanSP pierces and removes barrier/aura with a command code! Another reason why I chose BassXX as my target. ._. Also, no damage, no northwind, no patch cards, yadda yadda, you know the drill by now. >_>
