If you summarise each segment, everything about MMI is the ragam. Thanam is ragam. Neraval is ragam. Swaram is ragam. Alapanai and so on. He immersed himself in the ragam to such an extent that even the silences sounded part of the ragam! That was his genius and the reason why once you delve into the depth of his music, you remain addicted to that nectarine outpouring forever

I really like her teaching approach to 7 year old. Simple songs at that age would definitely kindle the interest to learn Carnatic music! This approach will encourage many to embark on the journey for learning music for life!❤

We have now Part 2 of the MOPA video on Maha Vidwan Shri M D Ramanathan Sir. So touching are the memories of his son Shri Balaji and the poems by Poet Shri Sachidanandan and Prince Shri Rama Varma. I would regard MDR Sir as the greatest legend in Carnatic music in totality with his unparalleled qualities within and outside the music world. I adore the great master’s personality, simplicity, passion towards music, efforts to achieve perfection, dedication, simplicity, conviction, confidence, knowledge (vidwath), etc. were all reflected in his music renditions. A great immortal legend who enthralled true music lovers and listeners, who still lives in the hearts of innumerable music lovers, and whose fragrance is spreading across the universe as time pass on.
