Looks great, but how would you repair it if it were the brim, including the bias edge?
@ItsFixable5 күн бұрын
I've done brim repair by binding the fibers with CA glue (super glue). There are different viscosities available; medium is good. Put a few drops of CA on a piece of wax paper (CA doesn't activate on wax paper), then use a very fine piece of wire as an applicator to dab tiny bits onto the cracked straw. If it's badly broken you'll need to first weave in little pieces of straw, or some other type of fiber, that'll hold across the damaged area.

My AU-A03T is making a popping sound when I talk do you know the fix?
@ItsFixable5 күн бұрын
Probably some sort of over-modulation? You may need a EQ program to control the level. Too, be sure you don't have an internal mic on the computer active at the same time as the accessory mic.

My damper was replaced but still will not open. And I don't see where the temp sensor is in my refrigerator. I saw the repair guy replace it but he did not put the cover chute back on properly. So after he left and I cleaned it fridge compartment out I pulled the cover and he'd made a mess of the damper installation. Foam insulation was all torn up but alas, even straightening out the mrss the door will not open and fridge is warm as can be. According to stats. It's the fridge temp sensor that tells the door to open and close. But I just cannot locate it. There are 2 small vents in the fridge that are not inlet air but I cannot see how they pop off. But am assuming the sensor must be behind one of those. But don't want to break it trying to get to it. Pitiful.

How much should I expect to pay for this repair?
@scottfiresign95311 күн бұрын
In escrow on a house that is going to need some of this work. Unfortunately there is a batt insulation that has gotten damp and is hanging. It's going to be an awful job, but has to be done. I've also got to install a vapor barrier. I'm planning on wearing a respirator though as I don't want to breathe in all that junk.

Why is a gas cap being tight so important that it triggers check engine light?
@ItsFixable14 күн бұрын
In simple terms, the entire fuel system of a modern engine is pressurized. there is a host of reasons for this, one of which is that gasoline vapors in the tank can be captured, re-routed and burned, increasing the fuel economy. Allowing these vapors to escape is also a pollution source.

The playlist is moved to another channel; however, what if I want to remove or delete the channel all the playlists are moved from? Should we live with first channel being empty if I intend to delete the first channel?
@ItsFixable14 күн бұрын
Once you create these duplicate playlists, you can freely delete the old channel. But note that any videos uploaded to that old channel will also be deleted, and if these video are included in the duplicated playlists, they will no longer be available.
@SBHATY0U13 күн бұрын
My very idea of distributing playlists (and thereby videos) across channels is to get rid of the source channel (for whatever reason). It seems even though playlists could be distributed across channels, the debris (source) needs to be there in the KZbin account. Anyway, thanks for your reply!

The rubber grommets raise back up through the holes when I tighten the screws through the strange shaped metal washers. If I only tighten the screws to the point where the rubber begins to climb up, the bracket is still very loose. Very unhappy with this setup.
@ItsFixable14 күн бұрын
The grommets are supposed to squish and expand tightly in their holes. Perhaps your toilet has holes that are too large? I suppose you could use a washer and nut below instead.

Hi. I have a customer that complains of that noise, however, she says hers is continuous and when I opened it I noticed that it kept going up and down. Do you know if I have two separate issues? I’d the noise the damper but the continuous running is something else? I noticed in your video that the damper kept moving up then down. I assume it’s because the doors are open but the customer complained that it’s constant. Do you think if I replace the damper she will be fine or if it possible that it will be less loud but still keep running all the time, closing and opening? Thanks for the video and for any advise you might have.

Great vid! Whats the best primer to use under INSL-X Tough Shield Floor and Patio Paint? Im dealing with some aged & weathered wood im trying to preserve.thanks!
@ItsFixableАй бұрын
I'm not familiar with that product but typically, if using and oil based enamel you want an oil based primer, and if using an acrylic based enamel you want a water based primer. The type of aged bare wood can make a difference too; resinous woods, acidic woods, and so on. Talk to your local paint pro shop. They're the best resource.

I don't have the same strength and dexterity in my fingers that I once had. I like channel locks versatility, and for a light grip positioning is irrelevant.

How much did you jack up at that once? I fear cracking drywall and such if I jack my floors too much too soon. Btw, shouldn’t there be joists every 16-24” spaced apart supporting the floors? That looks like it is supported by beams and no joists between them. Just curious.
@ItsFixableАй бұрын
The sag in the middle was just under 7/16". THe walls in the house had a few small cracks when I bought it. Now I have fixed them. This post and beam floor design is something that was done now and again in the 1970's. It incorporates a 1-1/8" T&G plywood subfloor for integral strength. To my knowledge it is no longer used as a construction method.
