I’ve had all three and all three are just commodity bbq, nothing good. There are much better options in San Diego.

I’ve been to Smokey and the Brisket a few times and it’s pretty good. But I believe Grand Ole BBQ in Flynn Springs is better and it’s also Texas style.

Sorry to say that you are making it look great but it was not good at all ! Live fairly close to this place and other folks in the area have said the same. The bbq sauce was so horrible we could not finish our food . Just my opinion ! Phil’s bbq is so much better .

What up man, nice video. Just stumbled across your channel and you need to get out there a bit more and post some new vids! I live in SD and Hemet is a little over an hour away, I got 3 solid BBQ spots down here in San Diego that are worthy of a solid video. Grand Ole BBQ Y Asado, Smokin J's and Bowlegged BBQ are the top 3 in town and you won't be sorry. Looking forward to the channel hitting 1k subs!! Keep it up and Good luck!

Come do Project BBQ in Johnson City TN. Best TX BBQ I've had outside of TX and better than a lot I've had in TX. I dare you to ride your bike all the way to Tennessee Keith. I can't even imagine how many time you'll get lost on your way here.

Cali does have proper BBQ you just have to find those gems it's not mass produced here from South to North you have everything from direct smoke to offset bbq
