Use the surge for screws and stuff that doesn't need crazy torque because it's so much smoother, nicer on ur hand, and on ur ears in tight quarters...I use one everyday....but the normal impact is still the "jack of all trades"

Just purchased this saw today. A table saw does not care how many years of experience you have, neither does an accident. Pay the thousand dollars and get a SawStop.

The Saw Stop is an innovative safety idea but it should not be considered a substitute for proper training and the use of a blade guard. If the Saw Stop activates it's because you've done something wrong..... A bit like if you run a red traffic light and believe you'll be OK because you've got a good airbag??

My impact driver wouldnt drive ledger locks so i took it in and they swapped my into a surge saying it was more powerful and it doesnt drive them either. I bough a 1/2 in mid torque and an adapter to 1/4 in hex but this is pretty disappointing to me to have to buy another tool. My 9 year old dewalt and my brushlesh m18 impacte will drive them no problem.

I love the concept but is there a back up system should there be an electrical fault causing this emergency system to fail.
@austinmartin18367 ай бұрын
This is the backup system - your primary safety should be physical guards and proper operation.

Yes, the saw will not turn on if a faulty brake is installed. There’s also a green light indicator to show when it’s working.

So... I love all these sanders but none of them even attempt to focus on bringing tool to the surface. All tests I've ever seen for all brands are basically made only for horizontal surface otherwise it's always cumbersome and hard to hold as odd angles. You can't exactly bring 25' high beams down to sand... Maybe I've been sanding too long so I'm grouchy about it but I wish a brand would think about these things too when they decide on ergonomics

I accidently bought the electrician version(I'm a plumber) and it seems to serve its purpose so far. I've drilled up to 3 in holes with the big hawg bits
@andrewrodriguez8492 Жыл бұрын
Bro the Hole Hawg is way better than the Super Hawg. I drilled like five 2 5/8" holes while some guy with a Super Hawg was struggling to drill two 5/8" holes. Hole Hawg is lighter and easier to maneuver. Just make sure to use the high output batteries.
@kenc.9067 Жыл бұрын
I tried my coworkers 18v hole hawg with the quick change chuck, used it to drill 2-9/16" holes (using a hole saw, not a self feed bit) through a triple top plate, with one of the plates being wet or sappy wood. The lighter weight and size of this drill was appreciated. It had decent power. Drilling three such holes as described above did deplete an 8.0 battery. A 12.0 Amp hour battery would be better.
@ADTR-p1p20 күн бұрын
Same here. I've used the hole hawg for 4" holes(rarely) but just had to bring my 3 week old hole hawg back to home depot for a swap because with a 8.0 battery EVERY HOLE it would stop working half way thru but this thing is perfect for roughs

Although they show the device being used on a Sawstop table saw, which is very cool, they do not mention that this safety device is only available for their Sawstop table saws. Just know that you cannot retro fit this to any other table saw. Just FYI

I'm always wondering why people seem to buy the square pad more often than the delta pad, even though a delta pad would be better for frames and cabinets and has plenty of surface area anyways so you're still about as productive as with the square pad.

It's a steel buckle with a nickel plating. Not brass at all! They need to stop with the burgendy color. That's a women's color. They used to use brown years ago and some advertisement photos still show their brown belts bought one and it's burgundy just like the ones your selling. Again, burgundy for women
