This is what i am aiming for in my restore of my own 828 boxes That big cell is a suburb horn and really spotlights the vocals in music . ! The 2405 is one of the best super tweeters ever made.

This doesn't make any sense. Why would you put external crossovers on the place where they vibrate the most???.. My Tannoy GR's have now two external crossovers on amp stands totally isolated from the speaker. They are better than these concentric drivers sound so different

I have one of these amplifiers that has developed an issue with the bias on both channels exceeding the tubes spec, even with the bias pots turned all the way down. I have attempted to reach Lansing Audio in Vietnam dozens of times over many months, via their web site, email and face book to no avail. If I could at least get a schematic for the amplifier, I would stand a chance of finding someone here in the USA that might work on it. Without a schematic, no one wants to touch it. Is there any chance anyone has a schematic?

I bought 1 too, similar problem due to cheap components. U don't need a schematic if someone understood how valve amp works, at the same time upgrade the internal components and wiring. I haven't got time to do my yet 😅

@@booncheongwee3025 Hi Boon. Troubleshooting the fixed biasis circuit in this amp is a little beyond my capability. I did manage to get the current down some by adding a 20K ohm resistor in series with the bias pot, but the biasis current still keeps drifting up and down. So, I just don't use the amp anymore. I don't want to take a chance the these 6C33C get into a run away situation and fry the output transformers or the power transformer. These tubes are known for this as the quality control was not very good. I did find a guy in texas that had the same issue with this amp as well. He never found a solution for it either, and endded up just getting rid of it. If you ever get around to finding out the cause, PLEASE let me know!!!!!! Best regards, Keith

If a bass driver doesn’t have a textile accordion surround I don’t use it. I’m sold on large short throw drivers.

This could be a lovely sounding system. Correctly built horns add a huge amount of space to the sound, but unfortunately the time alignment is letting the system down. The lag in the high frequencies makes it sound really lazy

Ok so what a minute hear. So this is some of the finest wood cabinetry I've ever seen. These speakers have to be at least a 100,000 grand pair. At least. But, you guys are using STYROFOAM for spacers on the tweeter and midrange.? WHAAAAAAAAAT. ???? !!!!!!!!! come on.

I can only imagine the cost of such a set of these speakers. ? Are the woofers servo controlled ??? Probably not but wow I can imagine the sound is incredible. Especially with a good LP player or SACD
