Nautilii gets my unasked for vote. Man, it might just be my ears, but gosh can I hear the Redwood in that guitar. Nothing makes the trebles sound like that IMO other than Redwood. Just a great shimmering, beautiful tone, great sustain, and coupled with (you did not say coupled with in the video so I felt compelled to do so) full and unembarrassed bass. I think redwood may be the most underrated top wood there is. I too am not a big Mahogany fan, but this guitar may change that for me!

I've been really excited for this one and it didn't disappoint. Great work and great playing as usual, friend. Oh...though nautiluses is the most common accepted plural of Nautilus in common language, they will always be Nautili to me. Apparently others, who are most certainly a danger to society, use Nautilus as the plural...like deer or fish.

Ben, another wonderful video. All your guitars are delicate and precise and a joy to see and hear. Whenever I’m having a bad day all I need to do is watch one of your videos to see the excitement and wonderment that comes through when you share your latest creation and I can’t help but smile. Merry Christmas.

Another great guitar with gorgeous BRW back & sides. Sounds as great as it looks. I also use the D'Addario XS coated strings on my acoustics. They're the only coated string I like, and I really like em. They sound great, especially for a coated string, and they outlast any other string I've used my entire life......and I've been playing for over 50 yrs. The pesky fraying of the coating happens on the Elixir strings, which are notorious for it. I know a lot of people love them, but I never did like em, at all.

@@voornaam3191 the squeek is gone, but so is a lot of harmonic content. Not a bad sound, but not what I’m aiming for. There are some semi-flattened steel strings that are a nice compromise, tho.
