I always notice how mean people are to the one at the table that is perceived as less attractive than the rest. They think they are stupid and boring regardless of whether or not they actually are. Just treated as less than for seemingly no other reason than their ‘#’. Sad. Worse is becuase those that act like that are only attractive in their own minds and are unaware of their own ‘#’.

Having watched a lot of these, I'm always wary of the first host. They mostly turn out to be overly critical, picky, unpleasant people. They know, so they go first and turn on the charm full blast to give themselves a chance at winning.
