Seems like a reasonable idea, but a stock 392 hemi or even a smaller v8 would do the job. Having all the power of the 505 means controlling it in tricky situations. If Jeep survives and gets the hurricane into the gladiator it will be the way to go.

@jonathanfreedom1st how many vehicles do you and your wife own? We own this and a 15 year old beater that I drive to work. Most "regular " house holds have 2 cars that they pay for. We could have just bought a second Jeep. Would that have been more "regular ".? Or was it more financially responsible to spend half the money, get exactly what you want and get the same warranty as you would have gotten with a new vehicle. We chose the lowest Hp, most tame and normal option which we feel was the best option for our needs. We enjoy using our Jeep. If you have watched a channel out Jeep has never been nor will be a "garage queen "

I figure you all just buying a engine, there's people that pony up 2 grand for shocks. Typically that's outside regular folks. Sadly. 1 st off Deb's comment was a joke as she works in 911 for a sheriff's department. 2nd, my foot was in it for just a few seconds. We hate to see a subscriber leave us, but if you feel that what you need to do, that's ok. Thanks for being a subscriber for the time that you were.
