Hi Dave! I have a Sole F63 that I got second hand, I replaced the motor belt last year when it wore out, had a little slip on the belt when running and gradually tightened where it felt great with no slip, but it’s probably the original belt. I was probably a little overdue for lube but the treadmill seemed like it was doing great, no slip, no noticeable friction. Was running at 7.5mph the other night and treadmill just shut off mid-run and the TV in the room also turned off. Treadmill wouldn’t turn back on until I realized the treadmill circuit breaker was tripped on the back. I reset it and it was able to turn the treadmill back on, console boots up like normal. But as soon as I hit start I don’t get any countdown it just trips the house circuit breaker immediately now. Is my motor toast? Motor controller? The lights flickered upstairs apparently when it happened so not sure if I got a power surge in the house or if a short in the treadmill caused the flicker upstairs? Thanks for any help you can offer!

What’s disappointing is that my treadmill is only about 14 months old and already has these issues. And it was past the one year warranty thus me having to do the repairs myself. Glad I did though. Hi, I just picked up a E7 sv on Marketplace. When that resistance motor goes out, is it true the incline is stuck in one position, and the display read out thinks the resistance motor is working, but there's no resistance? Also I removed the display, opened it up, and took the ribbon cables out, cleaned with Iso Alcohol, and put display back. Now, when I look at the display, the digits are light and dark grey, but if i look down from the top, everything is perfect, it's like the display on top, needs to come towards me, about 1 inch. Thanks for the video, and I believe my resistance motor for the E7, is on the other side, and I have white plastic looking cable, and not like yours...I think, I haven't looked real close.

@@DarkSevariant Your unit probably has a link arm for the Resitance not a cable. But it has nothing to do with the incline if both are not working I would think it is the console. It could be the power board also
@DarkSevariant10 күн бұрын
@@FitnessTechnologyServices hi, thanks for the reply...!!! ...hmmm, so you believe the console is bad? I took the console off, disconnected the three wire plugs, and removed it. Everything looked good. Also, any idea why when I look straight at the console the numbers are all blurred, but if I look down from the top, it's a perfect screen? Not enough power maybe? I's weird, it's almost like one of those screen covers for computers, where if you look from side, it is dark, but if you get in front of screen, you can see everything. There were three ribbon cables I removed, and cleaned with alcohol and put back. When you say power board, is that the board in the console, about 4 inches by 4 inches, or is there another one, down by the main wheel? I saw one video where the guy removed the shroud covering the wheel, and there was a circuit board about 6 to 8 inches square. I haven't disassembled it, but in my .pdf manual, I don't see a power board. Another thing, when I first got it, off Marketplace, and moved it into my home, I plugged it in, and heard a motor sound, but it only lasted like 3 seconds, and since I haven't heard anything, even though I unplug it when I'm done with my 'exercise.' The guy I bought it from said the resistance doesn't work, it's why I got a deal. Also yes, the incline ramp, which is below me when I exercise goes from 0% to 20%, and the ramp is stuck at 15%. It has never moved. I'll have to take off the shroud and see what's in there. I just got it a few days ago, and actually I run on it. I ran about an hour, ran 2.25 miles, and got a good sweat. It's a form of exercise, but very low low impact, since no resistance, but still better than nothing. So you're saying if resistance AND ramp aren't working, it may be the power board? I'll check for another board by the main wheel when I get the shroud cover off, but for now, the only board I have seen is the small 4 inch square one, inside the console. Thanks for replying..!!
