Hey, I've never tried on the R4s but I have tried on the TL's. It doesn't fit like the TLs. I find the TLs have a strange fit even though it is tts it looks bigger on foot. Where the Shox 2 fit more like a normal nike trainer and in my opinion tts. Hopefully that helps.

This is just one colour though not sure what the future holds for this model. There is a leather version coming out and maybe a black version. The point is the model is a nice model and unexpectedly good in feel and looks.

They cater to 2 different clientele really. There is an argument for both and it also depends on the look you are looking for. I have both and pair them up differently.

The closes I have to new running tech is my epic reacts and ultraboost. I know things have moved on more from that tech but the wilds was comparable with the comfort. Not the breathability however the AF1 wilds are more for winter then summer. But the upper had cushion which is akin to being wrapped up in a duvet. Your toes are snug and warm.

I haven't worn the vomeros to give a fair comparison. But in my opinion it runs slightly narrow but really feels fine. I wore them today with sports socks and felt really comfortable but I am not a wide footer so you have to take that into account if you are.

I bought true to size and they do fit comfortably. However there is space enough to put thicker socks. So you might be able to go half a size down.

I'm going to do another video to see how bad this could be. The 6 rings winterised did pass this test but it was leather suede with a water repellant coat.

Yeah i get your point but they are based on a 2000s design so get your point but I think Nike have improved on the look of the Vomero with the upgrades.

🤣 I had to play about with them a bit but the laces are toggle laces. They are elasticated and there are 2 plastics bits. The one that is towards the toe box is a hook. Essentially you use this to fix on to the part of the lace which crosses over. This stops the excess lace flying all over the place when walking. The plastic bit nearer the ankle is used to tighten and loosen the lace, after you unhook the other plastic one nearer the toe box, you pull to tighten or pull on the plastic bit nearer the ankle to loosen. Hopefully that makes sense.

Hey, I've just got them so have not fully world test them. But through the environments you are talking I wouldn't take that risk. As even if you clean them the white will become off white probably. There is a brown and white colourway coming soon which will probably last long in looking good. Let me know what you get in the end.

I think the will be a degree of restriction as it does have repellent material up top. But the vomero roam is based off the vomero 5s. Which the upper has a lot of mesh and very breathable. Isn't this the option to go for?

It's a shame. As they are nice in my opinion. I will be doing further test to see how good or bad these are if I submerge them in water. So will have a better idea of the sneakers limits.

Hey, I found out it does repell water on the upper but I think around the tongue area is where the weakness is. Also up to the mudguard it probably is waterproof but I should test that really.

Unless it’s a Gore-Tex material, which Nike has implemented it in many of its shoes, I won’t trust the effectiveness of waterproofing in this shoe. I also read that DWR treatments are not waterproof, but only water-repellent.

I couldn't say as I haven't had the vomeros. I would say though put them on more then once now they are not as restrictive at the toe. Infact I would say they are extremely comfortable and feels more spacious the second time round.

Mink oil! I didn't know that ti's can be used. Does this work for giving or reviving dull suede?

@@sneakypeaks Yeah, it works wonders when reviving old nubuk and suede. I remember first getting it year's ago to use on my faded and scuffed air jordan 6 black infrared. It hid the scuffs and made the nubuk look fresh and new. I couldn't believe it, buddy.

@@sneakypeaks Just make sure to not spray it too close to the shoe. Spray from a distance, then brush it in, in a circular motion and you'll be golden. Your breds will look like new.👊

Worked great actually! There's no cloudiness on them. But I'll have to try some baking soda and water to get some of the yellow out.
