glad to see a good reaction video where it's not obvious people looked up the answers. there are so many reaction videos on this show that make it very clear they spoiled it for themselves to seem to have a higher level of media literacy. going to watch more videos!

I love the background characters in the movie and have always hated the main two. Their story doesn't make any sense.

Laura lee is loss of innocence. Like lord of the flies, her teddy bear is a symbol of that.

The reason S2 felt off was because a lot of scenes and storiy was cut out of it. All the direct examples of the supernatural were pulled. They tried to redit and reshoot, but it didn't work out like they thought it would. The bonus episode never made it out of the editing room. I believe season two was going to be cveryfying the supernatural, but somewhere along the way, before S2 even aired, the decision was made to delay it or even just never confirm it. I hope it is just delayed, but we will have to wait to see.

This episode reminds me of a quote from an occultist I like. "It's all in your head, you just have no idea how big your head is"

i feel so bad for lottie. she tried to sacrifice herself to shauna so they could all eat and she could save them, and they ended up killing javi in her name to protect her.

The last sentence in the show is a very important answer to Caits question if Vi is still in. Vi is not refering to herself as dirt, but "I'm the dirt under your nails Cupcake, nothing's gonna clean me out" it's an abbrevation of a spanish idiom "Ser uña y mugre" translated to "to be nail and dirt", because nail and dirt are inseparable, you can't work and have clean nails, there is always dirt under them. Violet will always be on Caitlyn side. Also Cait calling her Violet for the first time in the show, means that they are equal.

Honestly, I don’t think Ben burned down the cabin; much like inviting us to think the worst of Lottie and assume she was the one eagerly spurring on the first hunt, Yellowjackets likes to tempt the audience into a paranoid reading (echoing the characters themselves) only to pull the rug out via new context and nuance. My money is on Javi’s friend, instead.

Misty is not neurotypical. Her motivation is to be liked but her means always inevitably push everyone away bc she has limited empathy. I think the biggest difference between older Misty and younger misty is older Misty has a better understanding the social cues. Either way she’s my favorite morally bankrupt character. Someone described her as nega Wednesday Addams: instead of dark but secretly has a heart of gold, she’s looks like a wine mom, is boisterous, but evil with selfish intentions. She’s scary bc there’s quite literally, nothing she won’t do to fit in. Can’t mask effectively? Kill everyone who sees the mask slip or poses a threat. That works right?

"That's on you" lol. I hope you two continue with the subsequent Fargo series'. They're all great. I wasn't crazy about season 4 though.

Misty cannot find Crystals body in the snow, convinces Coach Scott not to kill himself after he asks her to push him off the cliff Shauna beats up Lottie (end of the month) FEBRUARY 1997: Lottie is in bad shape, the girls talk about how she cannot heal if she is starving The girls eat belt soup and begin to hallucinate due to the hunger Lottie makes Misty promise that they won’t waste her if she dies Coach Scott goes out to find the trees Javi has been drawing The girls decide to let the wilderness choose and draw cards to decide who will die, that person will draw the only Queen in the deck. Natalie draws the Queen and the hunt begins Coach Scott finds the tree and a small bunker Javi has been living in while he was missing Javi finds Natalie and tells her he can help her and begins to lead her to his tree bunker. Javi falls into the frozen lake and Natalie and the other girls let him drown, then pull him up and tell each other the Wilderness had chosen. The girls return to the cabin and Travis finds out what happened. Lottie also is told and is mortified that the girls would do that. Coach Ben returns, at first excited that they seemingly killed and animal, but seeing Javi he is horrified and tries to get Natalie to go live in the tree with him, but she tells him that she is worse than all the others because she “let him die in her place” All the team, including Travis but excluding coach ben, eats javi We see Coach ben grab rope, an axe, and a box of matches Lottie tells the girls that the Wilderness chose Natalie to be their leader by sparing her, the girls then pay their respects to Natalie. The Cabin burns, assumingly at the hand of Coach Ben

American subs routinely lay off Soviet ports and wait for sorties, then track the vessels for practice. It's a scary business. Had a cousin in the Navy on a sub, he did a couple missions off Murmansk. Never said much about it sadly.

Yeah, I guarentee the writers took inspiration from Euripides's ancient Greek play The Bacchae (Bacchae being another term for Maenad). Especially in the fist season with Doomcoming!

I never watch TV series, so this comment is not about that. I just picked the most recent video you posted to tell you of an issue I have with both your reactions to L.A. Confidential and Gladiator. The volume for both of those videos was impossible. Your dialog was a lot louder than the volume of the movie. So if I wanted to actually hear dialog in the movie, YOUR voices would wake the dead! And if I adjusted my volume for your voices, I could not hear the movie dialog at all. Just thought I'd pass that along; but then perhaps you had already discovered this problem and your most recent movie reactions were better in tune -- in terms of the volume.

What happened to the first part of the movie? Why did you exclude the quick description of each of the main characters?

OK Guy's, if you want the whole story you need to read the book. The movie was only about 60% of the book. Ramius's wife died on an operating table from a doctor who was drunk at the time and killed her. There are so many other omissions in the movie that are in the book the movie will make better sense if you read it. Nice reaction though.

There’s a huge reveal you guys missed: Lottie saw the future early on in the episode, in a way that wasn’t ambiguous or plausibly deniable. She sees flashes of Nat pulling the queen card, Shauna putting the knife to Nat’s neck, and then Javi after he falls into the ice; not vague images, but the scenes as we will see them later ourselves. Either Lottie is actually psychic and not mentally ill, or these writers have broken the rules of writing in ways that aren’t defensible via “it’s a mislead!” (And I tend to think it’s absolutely a case of the former, not the latter.) Also, Javi brought the queen card back with him, so that’s where that came from.

the seed idea of this show was someone wanted to do "Lord of the Flies" with girls.. and that developed into this.

it was revealed in a off-handed comment by akhila a couple EPs back that javi brought the Queen card back with him from his hiding spot. and if you remember his "friend" told him not to go back. i think the moment he brought that queen card back he was doomed...

Something I’ve been thinking about is that most of the survivors we know so far had a near death experience apart from the plane crash at some point in the woods. Lottie after Shauna hurt her, Van literally many times 😂 Natalie in this episode, Shauna during her birth (in reality she could easily not survived to that).. And so on.. Isn’t at the very least a bit weird how they survived to those things? Also adult Nat told Lottie they didn’t survive initially to the plane crash? 🤯

if you remember in season 1 it was revealed shauna never told jeff about the baby, he read all of her journals in secret so he knew EVERYTHING. he didn’t really have the right to tell callie i’d say, but i doubt shauna would’ve told her herself.
