Regarding what the flashback scenes intercut with the chestbeats and martial music at the end meant: Rictus (Ambessa's right-hand man) is certainly *not* shown to be a traitor - to her, at least. He's carrying a message concerning the state memorial that's being held for the three councilors killed in the attack (we saw Caitlyn get another of the same letter during the sad song in her opening scene). And he's delivering that letter to Renni (the chembaron), because facilitating their attack furthers Ambessa's need for Hextech weaponry to be developed by escalating tension and making peace/tolerance seem impossible. Likewise, we see Ambessa holding her soldiers' attack until she deems it the perfect moment to "save the day" at the climax of that coordinated attack, and then executing Renni so she won't be able to talk about the Noxian role in helping them infiltrate the memorial.

Regarding that Vi / Cait argument of whether or not she would have missed, I like how it can be guessed in either outcome. I also think Cait wouldn't have missed and maybe Vi had a very slight change of heart and questioning when they saw how much Isha was attached to Jinx. However I can also totally see how some people think Vi was in the right because the Hextech weapons were going crazy and could have potentially accidentally shot Isha or Vi. The entire fight hte weapons were going crazy without warning. Either way , it shows that Cait's wanting Jinx death was more about revenge than really about putting Jinx away or stopping her for a lawful reason. When you guys mentioned the reasoning issue of why Vi hesitated, you can also say Cait's thirst for vengeance is also clouding her reasoning . Its not just Vi being clouded in that situation. Vi said that Cait should take the shot when you have it. That does not mean she condones Caitlyn taking the shot if an innocent child could potentially die in the process.

yeah the hextech wigging out would be enough to put doubt about her shot.

Yea, I don't understand why it's so hard to see Vi's perspective here. It's like, surprise! harming kids is a bit of a sore spot for her. She was ready to do it when it was just Jinx and was actually winding up to finish her off when Isha stepped in. There's also a bit of a parallel between Jinx and Isha and Vi and Powder. I think you hit the nail on the head with Cait; she is obsessed with killing Jinx and is just blind to the possibility of collateral damage. This mission of theirs has never been about justice and peace for her. When Vi begged her not to change, she didn't realize it was already too late.

@@benmoore8809 Honestly I'm never sure if these two are just a bit dim or on the spectrum. Fun channel though.

We as the audience know that Caitlyn is a good shot, but Vi doesn’t really have that experience. AND, we’ve seen throughout this first act that Caitlyn has become impulsive. Unhinged. She shot a random round at the shooting range in her moment of rage. If you think about it, I’m sure Jinx’s head was an easier shot than her finger in that moment. But Cait DIDN’T land the shot. She’s disheveled. She’s stumbling around. I think it’s reasonable to think that she COULD actually miss. When she shoots the mirror, she’s focused. She takes a breath. She lines up the shot. After the chaos starts that’s all out the window.
