@westside4life1770 yep, checked it out in person, I live like 40 minutes away. It looks clean, idled well and engine bay looks well put together but not knowing if the heads are built or if the piston and rods are replaced worried me.

Man i cant believe youre still riding. i stopped this week, its just way too cold for me now. Man i cant wait for next season though, i picked up a 2001 R6. absolutely tuned out the gourd. Stretched, lowered, geared, jetted, upgraded fuel pump, completely rebuilt engine, polished frame, brand new body kit, custom exhaust. this thing is a legit monster. definitely going to have to film some content on it at the start of a new season. also picked up a 2024 Harley RH975. Im not a big cruiser guy but its really nice to have for a more relaxed ride.

What he means is because they come from the factory restricted via ECU they feel weak. For example if you're in first gear under 8k rpm and giving it 100% throttle the ECU might actually only be giving it 50%, you need an ECU flash to really open up modern bikes to perform better and get all the power unrestricted.

Happy for you man, there isn't too many things more soul crushing than working long hours for 6 days just to spend your one day off doing everything you can't durring the week. Before any, "I work 7 days a week 14 hours a day, you're soft little boy," comments. That isn't something to brag about, even God took a freaking day off. That work 90 hours a week stuff is a young mans sport.

@@merweasel Amen. I was running a lumber yard for years, offloading and loading quite a few flatbed semis and local contracted guys. Money was good, hours were shit. I finally got a job with the state, even with a pay cut I'm never looking back. Ride safe brother.

@merweasel yeah I definitely wouldn't make a career out of it but in my country the average salary is around 25k to 37k so it would be great to get 200k for two years and put that into a interest savings account. It would definitely take its toll mentally after awhile though. Also truck driving is different in the UK I think. I believe your only paid by just the hours you do and not miles like some American company's.

@goofygoober420 that's basically what I did, get some money and now I'm getting out. It depends some companies here pay by the hour and some pay by the mile, I'm paid by the mile since I run about 500 to 600 miles per day

Beginner here, this is my first season, I just financed a bike too and 100% don’t recommend it even though I got a halfway decent deal. Picked up a 24’ ninja 650 at $500 under msrp out the door with no dealer fees except $150 dmv fee at 5.95%. Insurance is only $15 a month. My buddy got his first bike financed as well and got raked over the coals…..base price on his bike was a little over 9k and paid $11.5k out the door at 11% interest and his insurance is $160 a month 🤢 and he’s dropped his already 😬 luckily I haven’t dropped mine but already have frame sliders just in case. If you’re in your early twenties 100% DO NOT finance a motorcycle, buy a cheap one in cash and start working on your finances. I’m 32 with a plus credit, my buddy is 24 with ok credit and a bad driving record so his monthly cost on a bike could have got him a nice used car…..not smart. I usually don’t even finance cars, been driving the same used car for 10 years paid off since the day I got it so financing a bike was way out of character for me. Finance a car or house if you must but financing a bike is a bad move, it’s a toy in all reality and financing hobbies is never a good idea….that being said I plan on financing a zx10 in the next two years 😂
