It shoulde have been Caith instead, not Trahearne! I mean, you chasing her through the half of the jungle for the that bloody egg. If she havent stole it, the commander woulde have been with Trahearne at the beginning of the assault. He may have been able to avoid being captured from the start. Blasted Caith!

Looking at FP now in August 2023, I miss the old FP. I miss when we'd buy the bus ticket. I especially miss when you'd forget the ticket and go to the bus, and it arrives only for you to have to go back to HS to get it and wait the five minutes or whatever time it was. And when you'd arrive at the bus stop just to watch the bus driving away...

As a human elementalist that recently had lived the lost of my mentor in the priory and got to meet and help almost immediately Trahearne in his endeavors even before the pact, I wasn't very happy, but I knew we were gihting a war and we couldn't just stop because a cherished person had perished. I wasn't expecting to find in Trahearne a soul that felt almost if not more numb yet so relentless like I could see in my own cac (and perhaps in Rytlock as well, as we get to slowly now him better with time). I went to Hot feeling like he was the closest friend my cac had made since the beginning of his journeys out of Divinity's Reach. When I finally found him at the end of the expansion, broken in body and mind, it was pretty easy to see what was coming for him. Eir's death wasn't so easy to predict. I was pretty sure actualy, that she would fight that thing and bring it down (she is said multiple times to be the most capable combatant among the members of Destiny's Edge), but even so, she was barely close to the commander to the ppoint of being considered a friend. I'm not even sure if I feel like Braham is that close to the commander. But Trahearne's death hurt me personally. He had no chance against Mordremoth, yet he endured alone, until we came to him, and he still had the strenght to help us fight the monster. I believe he never doubted the commander would eventually show up, he just had to wait and do not allow the dragon to dominate him. It really felt like losing a friend that had a special connection with my cac, and Mordremoth had to make it even more horrible in the end for everyone involved but the monster itself. It's nice to see that more people appreciated Marshal Trahearne's friendship during our adventures across Tyria. This video and the comments are really heartwarming. In the end we really made it so that people could cease to fear that night

I don't really agree with the point that the girls from 1933 could have been the current riders' grandmothers. It's true it was two generations before them, but the actual bloodline of the girls has nothing to do with it. If I remember correctly Linda is from Pakistan and Lisa's from Texas, so it would make no sense for their grandparents to be from Jorvik. The bloodline theory is cool, but the soul riders and starbreeds don't get their powers from their genes. Like with the current Concorde - it's not the previous Concorde's daughter, it just happens to be another reincarnation of his spirit.

Eghem, you mightwant to take a look at old SSO, because old Lisa WASN'T from Texas (fan fact she actually was a cool as hell rockstar instead of an idiotic, wimpy country idiot who can't sing to save her life, and whose voice can be compared to nails scratching the chalkboard 😖), just from a big city and even was scared of horses at first (and THAT is a good arc SSO), and I could be wrong but I don't think old Linda never specified her organs, she could have been half Pakstany, and half Jorvigan, we don't know, I pretty sure she also wasn't writing fanfics back then. I belive this theory WAS 100% true, but SSO destroyed it when they updated Soul Riders... just like our role in the story. Think about it, from the incarnation of the goddess, who could have used the powers of ALL the circles, we became Soul Riders little slave, who can barely perform a Soul Strike (lightning power), can use Moon powers only when Linda is around to hold our hand, can't use Star or Sun powers AT ALL, and basically as for the current quest has NO role in the story whatsoever, and is just moral support/ tag along/ girl from Soul Riders dirty work, who usually doesn't get even a "thank you", so thanks a lot SSO. I would much rather learn more about my character and her role on Jorvik, and unlock our full potential, but it's pretty clear that we are just an afterthought in the current story and outside of it (why can't I look like Anne or Linda, but have to look like a literal pre-pubescent kid?!). 😭

@@aquamarina5216 babygirl I know that Starshine legacy and the comics exist, but I don't think SSO really treats them as canon anymore. There are some mentions like the whole story with James and Katja, but most of the time the writers pick and choose what to treat as canon. I couldn't agree more about the new characters' look though☠️ I think every character suffers from being put in a box, Lisa's simply gone for half our adventures since she basically lives in libraries and Alex always fucks something up since apparently she's unable to focus about anything other than being violent and her girlfriend. At this point the only girl from the main four I like is Anne, which is pretty ironic since according to the game's timeline we met like two weeks ago, but she's the only one who stops to think "what the fuck are we doing with our lives". In SL Lisa was by far my favorite so take from that what you will. About the powers thing - yeah. I guess most of it is just SSO trying to put out as many useless quests as possible so they can hide the fact they're just focusing on milking children out of their parents' money - but from the plot's perspective it doesn't make any sense. We're literally the most powerful out of all the soul riders but we spend all our time picking up horse shit, bringing people their mail and talking about the power of friendship as if we're in my little pony. I was actually SO glad for the quests with Sabine since it actually gave us the chance to think for ourselves for once. I'd love for our character to have the chance to turn evil because damn, I definitely like the dark riders more and I think Elizabeth's death (which WAS Alex's fault btw) and never being able to reach out true potential would be good reasons to star questioning whether we're on the right side. I also have the fattest crush on Sabine, so.
