seeing patrick say “that’s a lot of lights…” with that little laugh/waver in his voice… oh my god. over a decade ago, the reception to soul punk was so (unfairly) bad, the blog he wrote in response to all the hate was so rough to read that people were genuinely concerned it was a suicide note. and now, in 2023, people are in the audience, shining their lights on him, cheering as he sings it, and even singing along. i can’t help but think of another soul punk song, Coast (It’s Gonna Get Better). “it’s gonna get better/it’s gonna work out/give it a minute/it’s gonna turn around” i guess he was right. :)

I was at this show, towards the front of the pit. I thought people were crowd surfing until I saw the pit audience yeeting a bunch of people towards the front, then watching security drag them over the barrier😭 People were dropping like flies from heat exhaustion. Who decided to have an outdoor concert in the middle of summer in AZ. if you got to time stamp 1:13, you can see 2 people get dragged over the barriers

I was at this show, I was dying in the pit. At time stamp 1:22, you can see the crowd surfing someone who collapsed from heat exhaustion to the front, then getting dragged over the barricade by security😂 I almost passed out multiple times, and had to race my little sister out of there right before they played Saturday, because she turned around to look at me and was clutching her chest. She still insists it was the best night of her life however😂

Towards the end, you can see a couple of the people in the pit that passed out from heat exhaustion get crowd surfed up to the security staff at the barriers😭

I was at this show last night, I was up in the pit. At one point, I thought there was a bunch of crowd surfers, I was like “Awe look, they’re having fun”… until I saw people “surfing them up to the front where security guards were dragging their limp bodies over the barricades. People were dropping from heat exhaustion. I myself had to keep sitting down in order to keep from passing out or puking, I even found it hard to breath. It was my little 14yo sisters first time in a pit, so I stuck it out with her until I noticed her gripping her chest when they started playing Saturday. She couldn’t breath so I had to fight the crowd to get her out of there. Despite all the money we had to spend on drinks, the sweating and the heat exhaustion, she still insists that it was the best night of her life

Quick tip Bro, since you seem to have a hard time aiming with controller: you don‘t need to move the laserpointers (i.e. the right stick) everytime to line up with your target. You can also simply adjust say to one limb, then you can do sidesteps with the left stick to readjust if you opponent moves to the sides. Aiming with controller becomes much easier that way because your crosshair doesn’t go all over the place. That being said: believe it or not but lesser aiming skills actually contribute to the atmosphere of the game since enemy attacks are much more dangerous! That way you stay on your toes much more 😝!

Flamethrower wasn't that useful in some cases but it can be very effective by killing smaller crowded necromorphs. Contact beam is by far the worst weapon in the entire game cuz of the slow fire rate.

As expected, people who defended the lack of polish out of "old builds" were wrong. There are a lot of details off/missing from the original :( E.g., blood flying through solid glass, Isaac's missing animations, etc. The remake doesn't look bad, just underwhelming outside texture detail and decent lighting

You all lose the fact that he is playing, the best of all the gameplay is the fact that he is sharing his experiencie with us before the release date. Good game bro!

Man, did they _really_ get rid of Isaacs death scenes!?? Also: why do _all_ of you beginners just rush through the game so hard!? You miss out on all the gruesome events that happen to unsettle the player like witnessing suicide and stuff like that. Jeez players these days are so hardcore conditioned to this "reach-the-next-objective" type of gameplay you don't even recognize a masterpiece even when you have one right infront of you.. I wouldn't even have that much of a problem with it - but you are the ones to give your opinion later by which companies decide how to proceed with future projects!

Playing early aside lol watching you learn the game is painful, not in a bad way no shade lololol as a veteran to the series watching you struggle at first hurts
