Hi Jeff, I enjoyed your video. Grey Knotts has 2 summits which are pretty much the same height. The stile you crossed gave access to the east summit. The second summit near the other side of the fence is the west summit. Cheers, Paul

The sound of your breathing perfectly captures just how adventurous this hike was. Watching the video, it looks like you’re well on track to make your 2024 'Get Fit' resolution a reality-best of luck! The video is arranged beautifully. That said, if your goal is to grow your audience, you might consider trimming the video length a bit and organizing it with viewer engagement in mind.

Wow, this place is incredibly beautiful for hiking. Spending time in nature is the best experience. The mountains and green grass were captured so beautifully in your video. I really enjoyed it. I’ve subscribed to your channel for future videos. By the way, is YouTubing just a hobby for you? If you have bigger dreams for your channel, you should work on video hooks, thumbnails, and average view duration. You'll be able to reach a wider audience. Best of luck with your journey ahead!

how long does it take to dry ?
@JeffSea_3 ай бұрын
I left it overnight, and as I showed in the vid, I'd thinned the sealant too, so it needed a little more time. However, this was specific to the weather in my area at the time, which was dry and sunny. I think it's important to check the weather and make sure you have a warm & dry period.

You'd be glad that just now I’ve liked your KZbin Channel. Cos, your content was really awesome. But unfortunately, there are not much views and subscribers. I noticed that your video SEO score is too weak according to your needs. Because of that, your video is not reaching your target audience. You will be glad to hear that I can help you increase your SEO score so that it is top on the first page of KZbin which will increase your subscribers and views organically.

Everyone else is getting around 1:30 minutes boil time with 500ml of water with this stove. Personally I would'nt run it full bore so I'd be fine with slower times hoping it would be more efficient on fuel. I'm also interested in if it can simmer well. I appreciate you exploring the tightness of the components. These stoves are a little janky. Like you, I like a stove that's low. I've tried 3 burner stoves that have similar builds but they are kinda all or nothing rockets that consume a huge amount of fuel. How's the simmer, how do you like this stove now you've had it a while? Cheers.
@JeffSea_4 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for the comment. Since that video, I've had the chance to use the stove on several occasions. I'm now convinced that the gas canister I used was pretty low on fuel, and you can look at that in two ways. 1 was it a fair test? And 2 was it "real life"? Either way it is what it is, however I have another video on the channel where I was wild camping and I barely had the coffee in the cup before the water was boiled. And yes it was 'full bore' but there is also a fair amount of control, I have managed to cook sausages all the way through... and survived. 😆

@@JeffSea_ Thanks for the info, I'll go check out your other videos.

It is more efficient if you do NOT run a gas stove wide open. If the stove is starving for air...the flame becomes orange which is wasted fuel. Sadly, many if not most KZbin creators do not seem to experiment with flame control at all. They just turn the valve fully open and record boil times. Oh well...

Lovely footage Jeff. Couldn't believe this came up as a suggestion in the video list then we realised it was you that I was talking to at the summit of Dale head when I saw my amateur radio gear in shot I was participating in Summits on the air / Wainwrights on the air ! My Wife & I continued on to Hindscarth as the visibility steadily improved , had some interesting contacts on the radio as well . Nice to meet you .

@@JeffSea_ Great stuff Jeff . The locally organised offshoot of SOTA is Wainwrights on the air , which obviously includes all of his summits like Hindscarth. some of which are also included as SOTA such as Dale Head which is international .
