Hi, nice video - I know what you mean by the weather. I’m reduced to still life - me and the subjects 😅. I quite like the look of the Freewell 82mm V2 Magnetic Hybrid VND/CPL 3-7 Stops Filter. It looks like a clever design combo and I can also step down to 77mm and at a push, 67mm. Have you used one? I did try the K&F equivalent set but not impressed.
@HannahYoungPhotographyСағат бұрын
I haven't tried that combo although it does sound good. Might have to abet this. I have the PolarPro 2-5 stop VND which has always been great for me. But I do like theses magnets. What was it about the K&F that you didn't like?

Nice video Hannah. Congrats on the new Fuji! I think my favourite shot was the one at 4:32. The video clips starting at 2:39 - were they filmed using the Fuji or your DJI POV cam?
@HannahYoungPhotography14 сағат бұрын
Thanks Damien - loving it so far! And that was a favourite of mine too, actually got it on the way out once I thought I was done for the day. Those video clips were actually caught with my iPhone - find it handy sometimes ✌🏻
@MannyOnePointFour22 сағат бұрын
Hannah, how do these look stacked up? Say a CPL plus any of the NDs? A common occurrence in landscape. Any vignetting at 16mm? Especially with your step up ring too? The more expensive brands recommended you to size up to mitigate vignetting. Eg 82mm filters for 77mm lenses, or 95mm filters for 82mm lenses. Surprised they didn’t colour code the filters too (like Kase for eg) makes them much easier to identify. Interested to see how you get on.
@HannahYoungPhotographyСағат бұрын
Hey Manny. Yes they do stack. I'll be taking them out for a test spin (hopefully this weekend) to see how they hold up to potential vignetting. Hopefully went big enough to avoid this... I believe their previous versions had some colour coding but they went with labelling this time in text...

Love these type of filters! I have pretty much the same kit by K & F Concept. I use the CP but I really wanted to try some long exposure photography but unfortunately never got around to doing it. Just the going it out with all the gear and tripod is just seems a drama, no excuse and I will give it a go!

Great video, Hannah and those images are stunning! Congratulations on the X100VI! I have been shooting with this camera series since the original X100, and I’ve shared my adventures on KZbin since then. This new version is impressive for its size. It’s perfect for traveling/street don’t you think? Cheers!

Yes Hannah! Welcome to team Fuji 😁🥳 I really hope you enjoy shooting with your X100VI. I've shot with X100 cameras for around five years now and I absolutely love them. Simialr to you I still have a full frame interchangable lens kit as my primary equipment, but the Fuji is my everyday, walk around, travel camera. I love not only the size but the fixed lens means you don't have to think about what lens to take, you have no choice! And I love the limitations that imposes. One great place to get film recipies is Fuji X Weekly, they have soooooo many. Also Kevin Mullins has some great recipies on his channel and website. If you ahve any questions about the X100VI please let me know and I will do my best to help 🙂

Great video, thanks Hannah. Just subbed to your channel. I’m also a lucky Q owner and use a CPL filter quite a lot on this camera. You’ll need a step-up ring to go from the native 39mm Leica thread to say a 43mm of this filter brand and you have to forego the square hood…✌️🇦🇺

@@HannahYoungPhotographyI use the iPad version . Unless im doing it wrong if want to open the raw file you have to import through the Lightroom app, if you want the JPEG you have to import through the photo app, using the share icon and open Lightroom. I just ordered one today. I am thinking to pair it up with either my smaller a6000 or a6500 and use it as a "grab and go" purse camera for every day walkabouts. I also can envision it as a tiny second lens if I am out with a telephoto lens on my full frame set up and want a wider focal length with out carrying another bulky lens.

Where's your favourite street photo spot?
@alanjacobs92164 күн бұрын
My favourite spot now is Corfu Town because I live on the island. However, the Barbican was one of my faves before then and, incidentally, one of my late father's as well. He photographed the area when it was being built in the 1960s and I followed in his footsteps. I find myself drawn to black and white photography there. Welcome to the Sony/Fuji joint users club. I'm sure you made the right choice. Each system has its merits and the X100 - any version - is great for street photography. The new 40MP sensor delivers very satisfying, rich and detailed results.
@HannahYoungPhotography4 күн бұрын
@ love that the Barbican love was passed down. It’s a fun spot to explore. And cool to hear from a fellow Sony + Fuji user. So far so good with this set-up. As you say both have their own merits! Appreciate you watching from Corfu 🙌🏼
