What a great documentary. I played Highway to Hell and Back in Black front to back every day on the drums to get my timing and creativity. I still have my Back in Black album albeit scratches on the black cover. IYKYK hahaha! One of the albums I still listen to front to back.

It isn't really true that Jane earned THAT much more than Marilyn. Howard Hughes owned Jane's contract and loaned her out to Fox for $200,000. Under Jane's contract with Hughes, she made $1,000 a week.

Ronnie was the type of song writer that told a story we could all relate to. He’s my favorite singer and song writer. I was on the planet the same time Ronnie was. I wish I had met him.

It’s hauntingly sad to hear him sing as a 2 year old. I remember the day Kurt Loder came on MTV news to break the bad news. I had just turned 11 I was heart broke😢

So I have watched it all more or less… there was a time I was washing dishes and they were talking about that racist flag and reasons were given…. it’s 2024, back then it wasn’t thought of as the same way it is now (btw I am a coloured person and yes there will be spelling mistakes in my comment). I originally started watching because when I was young I loved the music and thankfully barely still do, do I think RVZ was racist well yes although he was a musician if he lived a full life he would of obviously opened his mind as he was a genius yet being a product of his born environment that would take the time to change those thoughts and realize if everyone was given the same access to education we can all be equally brilliant, I am a lefty saying that. At the end of this I will still listen to their music since I also believe that I am no better than anyone else and there was some incredible music created, btw if there are some rap fans out there Neil Young crushed then with his reply. Lots of respect to the amazing music created and truly as I will be making a edit at apparently soon come?/ learned that in the Caribbean, great saying/ to take some heat off my call on RVZ here was definitely influenced by the record company and the manager that both knew their fans would think they were rebels and they would gain all those racist people that unfortunately also have limited education, funny how they are also almost as low as the same level as the people they are trying to marginalize hopefully they will wake up soon, God Bless. These are observations and comments and the views from a documentary are skewered one way from all this I will still listen to the music if anythingI said could be of another perspective please share as my mind is open.❤. This is the soon come edit who am I kidding life is precious as is my time so this is the time to say yes chalk full of spelling and punctual errors although if you as you read correct my errors there is no need to change anything, my heart sinks writing this hopefully these words and the words of RVZ will help someone out there to pull themselves up look ad God and say I love you and well possibly live a better life, I say possibly since I definitely also seek the answer to life. God Bless Everyone ❤❤❤

What you are watching is the world turning it's soul and it's back too Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our Faith, God's own living word. The faith necessary to believe that God rose His only begotten Son from the dead on the third day into everlasting life as well as those who believe along with Him. It is impossible to please God without faith and faith come by hearing Gods word. Today's pro-Palestinian anti-Israel-God haters are these wicked people's idolatrous great grand children, the prodigy of their 1960s godlessness.

Empaths like Kurt draw narcissistic sociopaths such as Courtney like flies. Narcs are not capable of feeling anything but disgust, jealousy, hate, zero conscience, incapable of love for anyone but themselves. They need attention like humans need oxygen. But since they know people will run from them when they see through to their vileness, they spend their lives manipulating for control, especially over those who others are drawn to effortlessly. All they care about is what that person can do for them. Once that person they have leached onto like a parasite tries to do something for themselves which does not benefit the narc or align with their plans, they see them as their enemy who must be destroyed and these souless creatures believe they are justified in “neutralizing the threat”. She was determined to suck the life out of Kurt weather it was what imo she did or by tormenting him for years

Oh but it is about technique Mr fish the guy with the blonde hair. Is that that guy Fish that said that rather foolishly? He said its not about technique what what??? The thing SRV guys dont understand about the blues and other fancy players is that to get a tone you have to have a understated technique that takes years and is harder than flash. Maybe he didnt mean it the way it sounded but ive heard that guy play and he doesnt got it. Fish is like a decent version of blues players hes very good and passable but i wouldnt say special. Its hard to get soul and plucking the string takes years of dedication before you have a sound that gets soul and its almost supernatural cause your just placking a string but why do i have to pluck for years until it sounds with the same soul as my heroes. BB King is a mountain of technique!!

I'd hardly call her unsung. She sang with Led Zeppelin on Battle Of Evermore. Anyone interested in British folk music will find out about her pretty quickly. When I received her box set in 1986, it changed my life; literally not figuratively. My wife and I decided to go to England the following year for our belated honeymoon, on a musical tour based around Fairport Convention. It was led by Richard Thompson's then wife, Nancy Covey, and I found out about it from a brochure in the Sandy Denny lp "Who Knows Where The Time Goes", for the Fairport festival at Cropredy. We struck up a friendship with a couple we met on the tour and we kept in touch after returning home. A year later we moved to a new state to be close to them and we began our working careers. To this day we are still friends with that couple though we now live in different states. All because of a brochure for a musical tour in a Sandy Denny album.

My favorite syd stuff were just him and an acoustic. The stuff on Opel, for instance the version of Rats was SO much better than the over-produced version that was on the original album. It’s a lot like Bowie’s demo of Quicksand, I can’t even listen to the original version it’s so ruined in the studio. Or Let’s Split where he literally splits the song in half by turning the page of his music sheet, just brilliant, an unabridged look into his soul at that moment
