I must say James Brown was one of many who had total control of the Reverbs when it came to putting a pop on his vocals

I don't mean to brag, but I can do one hell of a good James Brown scream. I do it so well that this older black guy I work with asks me to do it sometimes for laughs. I love JB. He was a musical madman of unparalleled proportions

The Tami Show was ahead of its time. Black man was doing his thing and having Europan White Women screaming. Imagine Ed Sullivan having his mostly White audience screaming females at a black American man back in the 60s late 50s with racist America. He would’ve been shutdown his show. The racist segregation going on in South would’ve berated his network for having White Women screaming frantically over physical howling Blackman on live TV. That would’ve been a nightmare . In Europe they did7have that correlation to race. Although their was racism. It didn’t restrict their respect to Black people. America is still suffering the vestiges of their taunting JIM Crow laws. Thank God that James Brown wasn't intimidated by the White mans envy, and prevailed and became the pioneer he was indeed. White Americans and some of the deranged principles they were trying to hang on too. It didn’t hurt the mentality although traumatic to my people back then. It never stopped us nor does it now. The alliances we have if they are true, they will always step up for what is right and realize all the beautiful things we added to American culture and the world. Not just in creative arts also in business. We were trotted on to get a head start. But, we are catching up slowly but surely. We will, prevail. Thank goodness James Brown existed. Not just for Black Americans, but for all Americans to learn about history.. today everyone screams loudly and support who they want to support. Thank God for that at least.

@@josephellis6697 granted he invented funk but funk doesn't have a godfather. punk does (lou reed) blues has a king (B B King) James Brown billed himself as the godfather of soul. a google search for godfather of funk will come up Bootsy, Clinton and Mayfield. google search of goodfather of soul, just James Brown. i am making a minor point major because i'm high as fuck.
