Waffling IRA! The Offense sucked minus JT acting as Houdini. No damn quality OC is coming here to game plan for Mike. If you want another hope they are good G5 OC, then Mike can continue calling plays while we plan for a new head coach after 2026.

He’s going to have to hire people he trusts deeply so he can concentrate on other areas that need to be concentrated on and allow them to run their system and as far as offensive coordinator, he could give a list of players to the OC or suggest a play at a certain time in the gameand lighten the load

I mean, we are looking at the head coach and our starting quarterback having very close similarities both had really good seasons last year really bad seasons this year so I believe that it has to be the personnel around the head coach and around the quarterback because DJ is a proven good quarterback as we seen at Oregon State and we’ve seen Mike turn FSU around within a few yearsto a undefeated season

What is considered a quality canidate? There’s alot of guys out there that I’m sure fsu is trying to lure there but idk how many of them are actually viable or quality. With coordinators you don’t necessarily need a high profile name or someone from a power conference it’s a different thing than HC.

I think Norvell should hire an OC, and let him run his own offense. Let Norvell be the CEO of the team. On the flip side of that, I don’t know how many, if any, proven elite OC’s are out there that FSU could get. I have a bad feeling he’s going to hire someone he’s already worked with in the past. If he does, I think that would be a recipe for disaster.

At this point, Tag would have been better! He had a real connection with the players. FSU turned down Prime. And now Mike has this program about to go 1-11. The irony!! Prime took a 1-11 team to the most relevant team. And mike took an Undefeated team into 1-11. Smh Mike fires the OC when HE CALLS THE PLAYS!! He needs to leave!*

I agree with your assessment of Mike, but you completely lose me with how irrational you are about Taggart and Deion… Taggart would’ve never sniffed an undefeated season you’re literally on drugs if you think sticking with him would’ve been better. Deion had no coaching experience when he was trying to put his name out there to be FSU’s coach. Deion’s value as a coach is 100% tied to his son and Travis Hunter. Without them he’s nothing as far as being a successful coach is concerned. I’d be surprised if he’s still coaching next year.

While I hate norvell Colorado is certainly not the most relevant team, they are media hyped because of Deion’s profile, nothing else. If Colorado was in the sec or big ten they’d currently have 3-5 wins at best

He took a losing team to 3 state HS championships, then took a losing team to 2 straight swac championships, now he's doing the same at CU. You can't say the only reason he's a great coach is because 2 players. That's just hating lol and a tad prejudice. After watching this season let someone else call the plays. You have to judge Norvell with and without Jordan Travis. We've seen enough. Give up the offense completely

He keeps it bottled too much inside that affects his ability to call plays. Everyone can see he’s highly agitated. Can’t function properly if ya can’t separate it. I should have truncated and simply put “Does not work well under pressure.”

@@jamesb0255 If you think Norvell was calm for entire 23 you have missed the point. If JT wasn’t the QB performing his acrobatic scramble drills then it wouldn’t have been much better than this year. JT hid many of Norvell’s mistakes. If Norvell is a great play caller you would think he could at least call plays that would be better than dead last in FBS. To add to his play calling, his recruiting and eye for talent is lacking as well. You said collected. Norvell doesn’t stay collected when other great ones do.

When everything is good, sometimes you buy into things, but Dabo had a point about the portal. Developing players is paramount. One of the reasons why college teams struggle is because of the basic fundamentals of football,physicality. Put all of the player acquisition into the trenches. Keep Luke at all costs. He is inexperienced, but he's the only quarterback that jumps off the screen.

Norvell has been a terrible Recruiter since coming to FSU where is this Top 10 Recruiter coming from? Name one Elite 5 ⭐ Playmaker he has landed? The excuses for Norvell are outrageous at this point with him having the worst team in the History of FSU Football. Until we have an Elite Recruiter that can get Playmakers to come & play at FSU nothing will change.

Truth is nobody knows, Mike thought the o-line was good and DJ was good. At some point the development of all players will have to be your foundation. The portal should be used to plug holes not every position. If you miss you are 1-9. Just my opinion.
