I bet your neighbors love you!🤣 Yamaha two strokes were notoriously loud. They always sounded like they were doing 100mph. I have a 1968 Suzuki T200 that is comparable to it but it was not as loud as the Yamahas.

Moto Guzzi and airhead BMWs are my favorite of all time. Put over 253.000miles on a Eldorado and almost the same on a R100/7. BUILT LIKE TANK💪

I learned to ride on one. Great around town bike. Tried to take a 300 mile trip on it but the vibration hurt my back somehow. Got it on sale in 1968 Sears was dropping them. Sold it for more than I payed for it. Then got a Honda CB350 back problem gone.

Might as well always change rings and hone if you have it apart

I bought one new with a burgundy color matched Windjammer fairing. Had to get used to the shaft drive as it would torque on the curves if you let off the gas so you had to accelerate through the turn. Awesome bike for cruising all day.

I was having trouble seeing inside of the gas tank. If you light a match and put it inside of the tank we could see its condition.

Very nice looking Ford but taking off the front and rear bumpers to me is as mistake. You never showed the engine or trunk. What a shame. Viewers want to see what engine has been installed at least. Your camera view of the drive should of had a view of the inside of you driving. Why, because most viewers want to see what you shifting and so forth. Other than that I think it is a great looking car. Hearing the engine on the ride would of been nice as well. I am surprised no one has commented on this video since it was posted over 6 years ago and I am the only person that gave it a thumbs up.

After 1972 the horsepower dropped from 71hp to 55hp. So, not the performance bike that made its reputation.

I bought this exact color and finish 1972 Combat 50 years ago, in August 1974, in Phoenix. My first ever motorcycle. I was mesmerized by its sound and length of chassis. The gearing was so long you didn't need a 5 speed.

i grew up in westbury long island, on the glacial till. minibike heaven the rich kids had 2 mini trails, and i had a rupp. theirs looked just like yours.

Original (53 year old) tires isnt really a selling point.

Why compromise the performance of a Norton Commando by installing a single Mikuni carb. Cough, sputter, gasp. The new owner should put the dual Amal carbs back on, only then will they know how a Norton Commando should perform.
