I love this vegetable! One of my favorite peasant foods from my Portuguese heritage, is boiled potatoes with broccoli Rob and a boiled egg, all boiled together, and then drained. Put on plate and drizzle with olive oil and vinegar over them. It is so good.

I’d kill for a bowl of that tripe… I haven’t had it since I was a kid, a million years ago.

Thanks. It actually comes out very good. It's very easy to make. Give it a try...

It looks beautiful. I need your help/advise. I was making la trippa, but I cannot get rid of kind of “special smell’ at the back of my palate. The sauce is great, but trippa itself has this aroma I cannot stand. Is it something missed in cleaning? I noticed some nonnas in Firenze and Palermo areas soak it first with lemons or oranges… What do you suggest?
@onetakefrank Жыл бұрын
Make sure you clean the tripe really well before you start. Then bring water to a boil enough to cover the tripe. Then boil for 10 min or so. Then procede to the cooking process. It should all be on the video....thanks for watching...

Tried Frank's recipe!! My oatmeal hating hubby requests this recipe three-four times a week now!!! Thank you for sharing the how-to!! Two things I would emphasize...use old fashioned oats not instant - it holds up better overnight!!! Also - frozen blueberries add liquid to this overnight oat recipe where non-frozen blueberries fit perfectly!! If using frozen blueberries, I added 1-2 tablespoons less of the almond milk. Again - a winning recipe!!! Thanks!! Spaghetti Nettie

Wow...this video brought me back to the church suppers of my youth when the ladies cracked an egg into the largest percolator (they said it grabbed the grinds so you poured coffee not grinds). Of course, as a kid I wasn't allowed to taste it but I have never forgot it! Love the videos👍👍 Spaghetti Nettie
