You must change the model setting from high to low if you Have no passenger ac .

You have to change the vehicle information Setting To model low 😊 9:21 9:21 if you don’t have dual ac .if you don’t your ac will blow hot air

2021 and on comes with Harman Kardon speakers which are far better clarity and quality to the jbls and most others, best thing you can really do is just throw a box sub in the trunk or a seat sub if you want more bass, the HKs have decent bass for normal speakers but the clarity is whats going to pair amazing with a box sub above most other speaker replacements, just make sure you check your model and year not all crosstreks have HKs.

This is just like my mom's 2012 v6 Gen 8, so thanks so much for showing off how you did it; it really helped me out. I installed a 10" Android head unit, it fits like yours does exactly; I really like how it fits into the dash at the top; much nicer than trying to completely frame it further back, like the 9" units were doing; I don't like that style. Just wanted to say, I counted 10 screws(!) for tear down of the dash, to get the original radio out, and it would not budge until I found them all... 10. And then still 2 more, for the display at the top. That's the original radio display; moving it down below the original CD unit did require pulling the wire down, separating it from the other wires at the top of the dash, and finding a. way to pull it down to the bottom of the dash instead. I ran it back by the glove compartment; you can find it with a flashlight. This Gen 8 Accord is really slick with this upgrade; I put in a reverse cam; if it was my car I'd put in a dash cam too. I sold my mom on the backup cam; it's really nice to have at Walmart!

PSA: 1. Radio code is on a sticker in the glove box for Hondas 2. Gain isn’t to be used as volume! 3. Sub amps bass boost setting isn’t to be used (sub community advice) 4. Using the cigarette lighter as the remote power wire is okay but if you ever encounter problems just remember that is a fused link so if it cuts off and wont come on check the auxiliary fuse for the cigarette lighters Extra crap - a 15 is a bit much in my opinion to pair with stock speakers - the little box 4:43 he *didn’t* show is called a ‘Line Output Converter’. So you don’t have to get a new radio to have sub outputs/ RCA outputs Last but not least TUNE YOUR AMP. Don’t just get to turning knobs

I don’t know how you guys don’t mention the radio lights fuse blowing the 7.5 on passenger side under dash . Most of these wire the grounds to the lights and blow the fuse. I had to cut ground off the dimmer wire and connect together

Went with these same speakers on the crosstrek. They sounded good. I already had good low end with an alpine type r. I eventually put in an alpine amp for the jbl door speakers. Even though they are 2.3 ohm impendance, they sound much better with an amp. About 90watts rms in the front and the gain on the rears is turned back a little more because they can only handle 60 watts rms, opposed to 100rms for the front speakers . Overall very clear, loud, good mid bass and good hi’s
