Why not just get the sport? The base engine is awful. Same with the base interior…you got a base car.

i doubt most crosstrek owners are speed demons. My 20 Crosstrek serves me well in Ghana, well suited for the African roads and gives me enough power for the occasional long road trips.

@@Aglahad I drive bmw’s in the states but prefer my crosstrek whenever I go home to Africa mainly due to how it handles the rough terrains and not mainly for the speed. I understand the 2.0 is a tad bit slow however most crosstrek guys first priority is not speed rather more off-road capability.

@@maxosei-tutu9728 Correct, but when my Honda Fit/Toyota Yaris has more acceleration than a 2.0 Crosstrek, that is a problem

@@Aglahad hahaha. They sure can’t do what a crosstrek does though, it’s all about the outdoors and off-road for most crosstrek owners, speed is secondary
