Nice work! Like this approach to the square format. Just bought a Hasselblad 500 C/M (and a Mamiya 645 1000s Gold Lizard) but enjoying moving into the square. We all know the Moon landing never took place now (since the Stanley Kubrick admission) but the Hasselblad was indeed used by NASA to shoot earth from space and in the studio where the landings were filmed. I love the comparison of those to family holiday snaps! So right. ❤

I use a Praktica MTL 5 B with a Pentacon Auto f 1.8 50 mm lens as my go to film camera. Shot a roll of expired Kodak Gold 200 with it. Still waiting for the results to come back from the processing lab (Guess I'm the only person in my hometown to still shoot on film).

i’ve always metered externally but it does have a light meter, it takes a battery no longer produced anymore i believe, however there are work around, putting other batteries in, i’ve just never got round to testing that

definitely worth trying out, it’s my favourite format! if you are looking for a cheap and basic medium format camera, kodak cresta 3 was my first one, not the best camera but good for experimenting!

I need to get a TLR, they are just so cool. Personally, I love the K1000. It's simple yet elegant and built to last. Not a camera I can recommend though, the prices on eBay are nuts. I've managed to get lucky at second hand stores and payed around $100 for my 4 lenses and two bodies.

never used the K100 but i had the Pentax ME, love pentax cameras! got mine from a charity shop with a bunch of lenses and 2 bodies for ~ £50

what's the tall lens closest to the camera (which you're recording with)? is it a helios 44-2?

there’s 2 helios 44-2 (one with a canon EF adapter hence why it’s taller) and a helios 44M behind it

you NEED a Mamiya 645, they're brilliant. Get a 220 holder for it to let you shoot 16 frames 👍👍 Rich tea are very refined.
