I was feeling a little sad, and this gave me some hope that all is going to be ok. Thank you.

I'm 85. A grandfather. My tears were totally spontaneous - hadn't expected the film to end just there - a little masterpiece. ❤🩹 Thank you . . . . and I still have my father's watch. It hasn't worked within my memory. Maybe I should check it? . . . .

It made sense that he was her grandfather. The message "Sometimes the most distant memories can be the closest" and the clock running with the correct time, combined with the fact that she didn't miss the exam, is really nice❤❤❤

Please don’t make any more time travel films unless they make sense. The old man had no way to visit her. He had no way to fix her watch. And lastly, someone said that he gave her a half an hour of his time, something which I didn’t go back and rewatch to verify, but it needs to be more readily apparent if that’s something that he did, and oh by the way, how did he do it? This “film” makes no sense. There are too many questions after it’s over.

You guys remind me of Brit Marling and Zal Batmangalij, creators of The OA and other independent movies and streaming shows. This is one of their early, relatively unknown, films made when Zal was in LA film school. May you enjoy similar success and recognition. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mISkhWRpYqmhqq8

I liked the film before even starting it because I knew it was going to be just beautiful, I was not disappointed!! I get so tired of just the traditional love film, this was so whimsical and fun and yet deep about a different kind of love, so good make more please!!!

This was a masterpiece. My grandfather passed away a couple of weeks ago, and I needed this the most. Unlike other creators who make horror short films, this was actually a fantastic short film. I almost cried watching this. Please continue making films like this, which are different.

I’m sitting here blubbering like a baby, face soaked, nose running. I’m 70 years old and have lost everyone save my four children. Some to old age, some to disease, some to accidents, some to suicide-but it touches me deeply to think that perhaps they miss me as much as I miss them.

I like this movie, it touches me deeply in my soul. I am the grandfather of two wonderful little boys. Their parents are separated, the court is preventing a solution. I would like to be there for both of them, talk, help and think about life with them. I fear that one of the two tumors in me will grow again and I will have to leave before both boys can go through life on their own. Maybe I should get two watches for them ......

In the other side there is no time , no space. After my mother passed I brought all her things here I have her clock , the battery was not working anymore . When my brother sent me a message the clock started to work. My mother loved my brother very much and was always concerned about him. Two weeks after my father passed the clock that was in the livingroom that since one year was off the bells started to sound a long time at quarter to 7 pm ; every saturday my brother and his family were coming for dinner at 7 pm I knew straight away that it was my father telling us: I am here❤️ he was always there waiting for the dinner

If I want to be a director, how hard should I try to refrain from telling the audience, that the girl noticed the old man's wearing the same watch?

I always find it funny when people comment life stories after watching a completely unrelated video just because they think it has a message they can somehow relate to.

Now Seventy, probably wont be long, but I like how the older gent made a mark from the bench. Ive had unique visits similar, when a very special child of friend was taken by car accident- after the funeral, I walked out of church alone towards my car, and this special little 9 yr old girl performed the coolest whirl wind around me enough to russle the trees nearby. I could tell it was her, we spent such special times together when Id stop by to visit the family at small deep woods farm. I havent even gotten out of car yet, and she jumps on bicycle to greet me, and when she pulls up I notice both her tires are flat, What the Hell,, come with me, and in the barn is airtank, and she cant believe how nice it is. Smiling at every crank of pedals... So I get request to weld up the cracked engine block on the tractor, And gather tools to remove items, and just about dark, she climbs up sitting on top of tractor, and cant wait to hold Flashlight to assist like any nurse during operation. Later, having diner, she'd climb up in my lap for a Fav'd book story and we both fall asleep after a long day. And a tough day by morning, rushing 55 miles to the airport to service airliner fleet of L-1011's for another round trip for 350 people back to Mpls Mn. Then I just get home and get a call shes just been killed running across the road to the little country store to save her dog. I was so devastated, and that was mid eighties. Nothing was ever the same again. I couldnt go to that little farm again. I had to keep her memory alive just as I left that day. It changed them as well. But, one could make a unique short film - and hopefully duplicate the intense whirlwind that others never noticed. How it wrapped you with an energy that gently lifted upward. That would be her special style with added effects of gathering leaves in the mix in gravel parking lot of the church. You stand there for a while, just to make sure no detail is missed. Cheers

Good editing especially the setup. Glad you didn't crush the black in the grade. That wet look is so out of date but still people persist with it. Now go make a feature. Shorts just lead to more shorts.
