Beautiful short film. He ran out of time to meet her ... in his life, but; he gifted her some time... for her life instead! Also I love that it is called ' Timepiece' both an old term used for a watch, and; the gift of a ' piece of time ' given from one soul to another. Beautiful.💖

What a cracking film. Gives a tremendous message in such a simple way, and with few words. Very little spoken verbally, and that makes it all the more powerful for me. I watched this little gem of a film a couple weeks ago and immediately was touched by it's simple portrayal of life as a young college student late for her class and in the end is gifted by a visit from her grandfather, who she never knew. Her regret is expressed by his broken wristwatch which she proudly wears years later. The mystical appearance of her grandfather is one of reassurance, but also of love and regret that he "had to leave" before meeting her. I now have returned to watch it several times. It has such a comforting effect on me. Sweet and creative film.

We are all engineers. His wife prepared a wonderful tradition dinner , which we eat sitting on the floor without utensils . Because I wasn't family his wife remained in other rooms of his home . It was a great evening for all of us . They had 100s of questions about America culture , many about OJ which had occured a couple months earlier . Working in jubail in the summer is the hottest environment known to man. My host received a grant from SABIC to come and work with me for several weeks while staying with my family . We stayed in contact for years .

Hey, the background noise should be dimmed. It's interfering with their vocals. After their talk, the music and the sound of the bus and the bus sounds against the clock ticking were too interlapped that it just sounds like noise that your brain is trying to separate into more focused and emphasized messages, like I'm trying to get what's happening but the way the sounds mix but don't blend is giving my mind that attention vs just focusing on the flow of the movie. This was an amazing film AND way better than full features in the cinemas right now. The colors are fanatic! The way her hair matches the trees and outfit matches the approaching bus, even the bus having its text in bright orange 🍂 Blue and orange are contrasts that I HATE, especially as a filter in movies and series. However, here, they were used as natural colors of the surroundings, so they allured the visuals tell a wistful and heartful story. The fact that he gave her time is lovely.

Nicely done. Lots to praise here. Good script, good acting, directing, framing, etc. Liked the following the bike. The bus must have been challenging to shoot, but well done. Couple bits of feedback. Light was a little harsh in the opening scene. Traffic noise a bit loud while on the bench. It might come across as negative, but so much more in the film to praise than these two things. Trying to be constructive to help advancement, not negative. Completely aside from anything else, I loved the color of Sam/Immie's hair and how the light played with it. That was beautiful in itself.

Good work and storyline. As others said, the dialogue around 5:40 was a little quiet. The opposite side close up angle at 5:17 was a little off putting too, maybe it was intentional. But prior it was set up as if we're sitting between the two and all of a sudden were close up on the outside looking in and then back to the middle.
