Amazing performance, I particularly loved Brother Can You Spare a Dime. George absolutely nailed this song at Netaid much like he did at the Pavarotti concert but this performance in my view is more special. He nails every single note word for word. George also looked amazing here 😎

I'd heard Brother Can you Spare a Dime many times in past years - but, never sung so poignantly and beautifully - not surprisingly. GM was a treasure....❤ Love how the crowd at the end didn't want him to leave - what a performance (as always). How cool is that moment where he waves (5:32) toward the percussionist as signal to play - I always find it so crazy that hideous rupert murdoch thought for one second people would give a crap about whether this amazing human was gay or not.

George Michael's voice so much more emotional and with so much more depth than Elton John's - It makes such a difference in how I felt listening to GM's vocals that I ever did with Elton's version. Hard to listen to this as GM's lover Anselmo was dying of AIDS during this time - just agonizing for him. And when you think of what this song is about - Marilyn Monroe's fame, her dying too young -and the lyric about when "you died the press still hounded you" and that "Marilyn was found in the nude" - just as the press exploited GM's death - it makes this feel even more poignant and painful than ever....💔
