I miss the days when mad dog Mandich, Neil Rogers, The Hammer and Jorge were always on. They got me through those days back then that really sucked for me back then. “Jocks and Jews” Neil used to say. Miss them but especially Neil.

I had many a fun conversation with her at WABC. Ironically she got along amazingly well with Rush Limbaugh and Bob Grant. She was even considered for a nationally syndicated show. Although I rarely agreed politically with her, she was always great to chat with about anything else.

Thirty-five years ago and Neil was King of Miami, a big part of so many lives in south Florida. The man loved the racetrack too.
