Hi, when you have extensions in your hair, do you use braid spray and do you oil your scalp?

Thank you so much for this education. I have gone further to research many of these ingredients and my god half of these am allergic to and did nothing for my 4c hair. Am allergic to nuts shellfish berries etc Very stressed as I do have very sensitive scalp. I recently tried to be brave and tried a new lime shampoo and my scalp got burnt. Previously to that I had been using Shea moisture daily hydration, found out my hair hates coconut oil. Seems like there is next to nothing with people like me with several sensitivities as majority of the products on the market have almond oils, berries etc.. With Shea moisture coconut I react slightly not as severe as the others but makes my hair dry and shed. Am currently trying Shea moisture manuka honey and oil and that has jojoba in it am finding out that it leaves my scalp tingling but at least it’s not on fire. I just have to keep searching. If I don’t find anything I will cut my hair.

I appreciate your youtube channel and that you post this one along with every youtube you have post that I have viewed. Your product reviews are detail, informative, and at a pace that I can follow. This youtube is relatable for me and freeing also. It reveals your reality of natural hair care that I can relate too, which is encouraging hair therapy and reality for me also. The care and freedom to pour love into your hair has to come from within and not to be rule by culture but by freedom within and I have finally come to claim the beauty of my hair. I am a few years older than you so i can relate. It takes a lot of energy some days to even put my hair in a few plats and keep it moving. Looking forward to your next KZbin.

Thank you for the video. You are right about the prices. When you are on a budget it is hard paying $33 for a small bottle of hair product. I do not know name of this black hair product. There are four steps to using their products. You have to buy four tubes. There are expense. These new black companies will stay in business for awhile. Next thing you know. They are selling their company. Enough is enough. I am allergic to coconut. Just about every black products on market. It contains coconut. I am looking for a product without coconut. Product for itchy scalp and dry hair. Finally a product is reasonable price.

I appreciate your review, however have you considered that her products come from Europe. She is not in the united states. Also European products are known for being more safe than products in the U.S.
@ZalinaW
@ZalinaW Ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I understand the product may be imported from Europe, but it does not change the product's formula. The first 5 ingredients in the product's formula are ingredients commonly found in similar products with the same objectives, but are cheaper to buy. Europe is known to ban ingredients that US allows to be used. In this case, it does not relate to these products that I reviewed. They are just too expensive considering the ingredients used in the formula does not warrant the expensive price. I can't afford it. My hair won't feel the difference between this product and a cheaper product.

Hey! I totally get where you’re coming from. Life can be tough, and it’s easy to fall into habits that don’t serve us. But recognizing that you’re responsible for your own journey is a huge step! It’s all about taking small, consistent actions toward your goals. Remember, every little effort counts! You’ve got the power to change your situation, and I believe you can do it. Keep pushing forward, and don’t forget to celebrate those small victories along the way! You've got this! 💪✨ Stay consistent with what you are doing and allow yourself some grace.

I'm sorry to hear that the shampoo dried your hair out. The first four ingredients in its formula, after water, are cleansing agents, which means it is primarily designed to clean hair. It's important to use a conditioner after shampooing to prevent dryness and brittleness. With so many shampoos available on the market, did you find one that you liked?
@SheQuon

@ still on the lookout! Idk I wouldn’t have minded the dryness if it had actually cleaned my scalp afterwards lol. That’s why I didn’t like it. It dried my hair and it didn’t thoroughly clean my scalp. Still trying to figure out how that happened 🤔 lol. I’m going to try kinky curly come clean next!

You are absolutely correct regarding the ingredients used across the board in other deep conditioners, as well as marketing. All products/items are mainly marketing. Everyone's hair is different, so any opinion on products are subjective.

I bought her entire products line and my hair was definitely extremely soft and manageable. However, like you said, I do not feel like it was restoring or repairing my hair’s structure etc. now I know it’s because the ingredients are not even concentrated enough to do anything but hydrate.
@ZalinaW
@ZalinaW 4 ай бұрын
Thanks for letting me know. Remember, products themselves will not "restore and repair" your hair in one use. It's the care over time that helps "restore and repair". There is no miracle one product. Also, when it comes to products, each one has a specific job; shampoo is intended to clean your hair and scalp, and conditioners are intended to condition your hair. Good wishes on your hair journey!

@@ZalinaW yes I know. I used her products for over a year and I LOVED the moisture, but I felt my hair was not as strong. My hair in particular needs a restorative system, but a lot of those types of products did not provide the moisture I needed. I have found better products since then! But if anyone wants MOISTURE AND SOFTNESS, her line is GREAT!

@@pippiesroom4822 @pippiesroom4822 Thank you for informing us. I agree with you that we can outgrow a product and may need to switch because of different needs. If you looking to make your hair feel "stronger" go for products that feature keratin/protein as a key ingredient. In viewing my own video, LOL! I want to correct myself and state this product is a "basic shampoo". The first 5 ingredients consist of cleansing surfactants intended to clean your hair. Most likely it will work fine to clean one's hair. I was just turned off by the number of unnecessary ingredients in the product.

Great job with the parting. Did you wash your scalp while in the braids?
@ZalinaW
@ZalinaW 5 ай бұрын
I did. When I wear my braid, I keep them in for a few months and I wash my scalp knowing that my hair is not going to be "cleaned" in the crevices. But it is okay because with 4c hair, when your hair is in braids it maintains retention better because of the lower manipulation.
