Never liked the term side hustle but to me it’s anything you do to make some extra cash in your free time. Dumpster rentals takes too much time and money to be a side hustle

Yep same here and $ 500 deposit. That way you don’t get burned as badly if they stiff you.

I include 1 ton of weight as well, we’re not to far from eachother I’m in southern NH on mass border. $250 a ton by me, 1 ton minimum. I definitely tac on money for overages. I honestly don’t get many dumpsters under a ton. It happens for sure, but wouldn’t matter to me anyway. Hooklift if definitely more efficient, but also more expensive upfront. Would have to be do ALOT of rentals for it to equal out. I use a hooklift but found a good deal.

I include weight also. I have found (seeing things from the customer point of view), the customer prefers to know what the total price is up front not wait for the charge or phone call after the rental has been picked up.

Personally i would have a heavy commercial battery and isolate it from the truck batteries huge draws of current might damage the computer or TIPM just a thought. I use to snowplough when i was younger but now when I’m old nope 😉
