Pretty sure Klaww is a mutated lurker given massive amounts of Dark eco and precursor technology. By his appearance you can see his armor is precursor material, possibly from stolen and shifted pieces given to claw. However he has major weakpoints and exposure due to not having all his body covered. I like to think this is from his fight with Fallen Warrior who managed to break off chunks of his armor, and upon close inspection Klawws armor is battle damaged a bit. Also, he has tubes all around his back and chest. I like to think those are eco tubes pumping darl eco into his body, which increases his size and darkens his fur color. His arm cannon is most likely a precursor weapon, given to him by Gol and Maia. Also in a cut cutscene, Gol mentions klaww is "still in his cage". This means unlike the other lurkers, Klaww is extremely aggressive and cant be controlled as easily, possibly due to all the dark eco affecting his mind

Thinking about it. The proboscis on the precursor robots could easily fit on the eco vents. So it’s the eco vents that supply the robots. The temple is a blue eco generator. It would provide blue eco power for the precursor robots on the entire planet.

My hobby is creative writing and I started a Jak and Daxter fanfiction last year. I just wrote a few paragraphs trying out a writing style to create something that captures this sence of mystery and everything that Jak 1 gives. I also love Jak II and 3, but always felt like I want to know more about the Precursor Legacy world. Now we have OpenGOAL and the wonderful Forgotten Lands mod. Maybe I'll continue my writing to finally publish something on the internet.

I didn't think too much about Mountain Pass. I just assumed it was a small Lurker-occupied canyon. But the idea of it being a former Precursor construction zone and now a Rock Village mining area does sound legit. I think the red crystal in the tunnel could be crystallized Red Eco. If so, then they could be highly explosive. That's probably why the Lurker set up all that dynamite. If Jak and Daxter didn't stop them, the explosion could've set off a chain reaction which would've sealed the tunnel for years. Anyway, I'm glad you're back. What's been going on?

In the heart of Sandover Village, where the echoes of the Precursor Legacy still whispered through the ancient structures, Jak and Daxter returned to a seemingly peaceful life. However, tranquility soon shattered when an unsettling atmosphere gripped the village-a foreboding sense of intrusion. One ominous night, as the moon cast eerie shadows over the familiar landscape, a group of hooded figures materialized in the shadows. These mysterious intruders bore an uncanny resemblance to characters long believed to be confined to the past-Gol Acheron, the Farmer, the Fisherman, the Sculptor, and even the Bird Lady. As the night wore on, the hooded figures, driven by an unseen force, converged on the house of Jak and Daxter. The creaking floorboards betrayed their stealthy advance, and the duo awoke to the chilling realization that their home was no longer a sanctuary. The intruders, animated by an otherworldly compulsion, spoke in twisted echoes of familiar voices. They chanted incantations that warped the very fabric of reality, transforming the cozy abode into a nightmarish amalgamation of twisted memories and eerie dreams. Each room became a stage for psychological horror-the spectral Fisherman whispered haunting tales of the sea, the Farmer's ghostly presence hinted at dark secrets in the fields, the Sculptor's twisted sculptures came to life, and the Bird Lady's ethereal birds circled the home ominously. Jak and Daxter, armed with only their wits and the remnants of eco-infused weaponry, navigated the increasingly distorted house. They faced nightmarish illusions, with the intruders taunting them with visions of their deepest fears and regrets. In the heart of their once-secure abode, the duo confronted the hooded figures in a harrowing showdown. The intruders, driven by a malevolent force, fought with an otherworldly strength that mirrored the dark powers of the past. As the struggle reached its climax, the moonlight illuminated the faces of the hooded invaders, revealing not the familiar characters of old but twisted, grotesque versions-manifestations of the village's collective fears. With a final burst of determination, Jak and Daxter overcame the spectral assailants. The hooded figures, once filled with a malevolent force, crumbled away, leaving the village in a stunned silence. The intruders' malevolence dissipated, and the house returned to its normal state. Yet, as Jak and Daxter surveyed the now-quiet village, they couldn't shake the feeling that the invasion had left a lasting scar. The echoes of the night lingered, and the Precursor Legacy's whispers seemed more distant, as if the village had become a repository for the dark remnants of that fateful home invasion.

@@derrinmaloney1039 always. Just had the chance to get back and watch this. Really in depth analysis as always; love the way that the geography was layered by your narration. First linking the lava of mountain pass and volcanic crater to snowy mountain's internal workings, then following up and comparing yellow eco vents to magma flows. Really positions the environmental magic worldbuilding in ways that fit naturally into place, perhaps even in ways that the devs didn't structure beyond "fire area= fire powers". It really adds a sense of thematic stability to a world designed mostly for game mechanics, nice work tying it together.
