We grew up poor. Got a PS2 because it was a gift from the cable company. My father saw Jak and Daxter, the Precursor Legacy and thought of me. We couldn't afford many games. But Jak and Daxter will always be wonderful to me.

You've reminded me of how nice of a piece of music "Nara" is with this one. It might've been a bit overpowering as a piece of background music, but I still enjoyed listening to the ideas all the same.

My hobby is creative writing and I started a Jak and Daxter fanfiction last year. I just wrote a few paragraphs trying out a writing style to create something that captures this sence of mystery and everything that Jak 1 gives. I also love Jak II and 3, but always felt like I want to know more about the Precursor Legacy world. Now we have OpenGOAL and the wonderful Forgotten Lands mod. Maybe I'll continue my writing to finally publish something on the internet.

I'm going to be going through these videos, because KZbin didn't recommend this to me so now I need to catch up on what seems like a very interesting series. First off, I don't know if you fix this just yet but the music is drowning out your voice a bit so it's hard to make out at times. The text on the pillars, and most structures really, says 'life'. Considering what's said in the design bible it'd be safe to assume this is because the precursors were supposed to be the creators of the planet, this text is everywhere to symbolise the overall goal of the project: To create, house and sustain life. Again excellent video, I am very upset KZbin never recommended this to me.
@derrinmaloney10394 жыл бұрын
Audio issue has been long fixed from the next episode onwards :) Most text in the game translates to life yes, but the pillars say "quest" and some other things like the pipes in Lost Precursor City say "pipe", and some eco vents say "strength" or "power" 😁 Let me know what you think of the rest of the series, thanks for watching 😌

@derrinmaloney1039 Жыл бұрын
Hard to say! The only mention of his age ever said was when he was in prison in Jak II where he mentions something about "six rings added to his trunk", which could have meant six full years, or he was exaggerating! As for his original age, no idea - though I'd bet he is older than he looks, with green eco keeping healthy and vigrous far past his prime!
