If you can afford a John Deere tractor like that, you're not allowed to complain when it breaks down

My mother in law just called complaining that her new car doesn't change gears. I took it for a drive and it was perfect. I got her to drive and it was perfect. Puzzled, she thanked me and I got out. Just as I got out she asked me to give her her hand bag off the floor. I did as asked and she promptly hung it on the automatic shifter, which moved to the side and locked the car in 1st. I asked if she did that all the time. "never had to with my old cars but this one has an annoying ping if I sit it on the seat and it just roles around on the floor so I hang it here"

Any mower larger than a push mower will destroy your lawn and make it look like garbage from the compaction.

I don't disagree. We have a push mower for lawns. This unit is for the acreage/field/orchard and with 35hp would definitely be overkill. Stay tuned for more misadventures from these two retiree hobby farmers.

Almost like those tires or some sort of scam so you can get service calls not use or I'm not saying it's your fault it's one of them things a company knows about and purposely doesn't solve because it makes more money for their service repair people to come out and simply remove a rock

Haha - only so much time in a 'short'. In this case, I've got a great toolbox and the operator/customer is my amazing wife, who gets out, rolls up her sleeves and will mow for 5 or 6 hours straight. Started with a clean mower. This happened 3 hours into the job. I was due for a distraction from what I was doing so we did a little 'customer/service tech' skit. The situation however was very real and exactly how it occured. Stay tuned for more misadventures from these two novice hobby farmers.😂

It's that amazing tire that causes those kinds of problems because when you turn in gravel it throws rocks up in your controls end up under the motor and pumps and things it throws all kinds of debris up in there with those types of tires that's why those tires are no good

It was made to be worked. So we work it. We have a fair amount of land that we mow a couple of times a year and there are dirt and gravel roads and paths that we traverse (mower off) - but these tires seem to kick up a lot of debris whether mowing or travelling. But a bad day on the mower is still better than a good day in the office. Thanks for tuning in. More adventures and misadventures coming your way.

Great point. It's one of those 'improvements' that was done in a silo versus being part of a larger plan where the consequences are fully thought through. Reminds me of a fellow from my teen years that put a large block Ford engine into a Pinto (compact) car. The front suspension totally collapsed because he'd not thought about that outcome as the result of the added weight. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks for the tip! Much appreciated. We're learning so much about what animals can eat and what they cannot. In the same category as the cherry tree cuttings are rhubarb leaves (the stalks are ok - but the leaves are toxic to just about everything apparently) - and we have a number of rhubarb plants. Thanks also for your kind words.

What is the custermer cutting and how did that rock get there

This midway through a long day of cutting. (Machine gets power-washed after every use) My wife and hobby farm-partner had to traverse a gravel driveway between cutting areas.
