According to the Quran, women do not have to cover their heads. They are not allowed to show their sexual body parts, such as their breasts, to avoid arousing men. For their own protection. During the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad, women's heads were covered with a veil, as were men's heads. It was a desert region and the head veil was used to protect the hair and face from the sand. People didn't wear underwear back then because it didn't exist yet. Today, I think it's simply stupid to veil yourself in the cities like back then. These women would actually have to leave their underwear off too. It's a strange idea.

The hijab has nothing to do with Islam. I don't understand why these girls portray it that way. The area during Muhammad's lifetime was a desert area. That's why women and men covered their hair with a veil to protect themselves from the sand. This had nothing to do with faith. There is no obligation to cover the head in the Koran. Women are advised to hide their sexuality (e.g. breasts) for their own protection. They should not seduce men or rob them of their wits, because men have a weakness here. Of course girls today can cover their heads if they feel more comfortable or prettier, but not in the name of Islam, please…
