Two things: You are nearing the top of whatever gear you are in, which doesn't allow you to fully take advantage of your rpm range, and your throttling before you let go of the clutch almost matches the rpms you would be in without pulling in the clutch. Essentially, you want to go at a speed that is going to be low rpm relative to what gear you are in and you want to throttle at an rpm (with the clutch in) that is higher than the rpm you would have without holding in the clutch. You pick that front end up way easier and have more room to control your rpms. If you max out your rpms, which is what is happening, then you can't keep the front end up. Also, I am not sure if it was mentioned or if you were doing it, but keep your foot on that brake and always fight it while doing a wheelie, even if you are on the throttle. This is better for control. With all things considered, great job!
@auroras1kk9 күн бұрын
@@onehitta7892 yeah I know I should be at 4 Rpms and getting it to 7-8 while clutching up but I’m trying it just still struggling with it but hopefully with time I’ll get it down right now as long as I get the wheel up I’m happy lol 😂 but yeah I never let go of the foot brake lol

I had that helmet for like a week for testing and was increadibly disapointed with it's build quality. The visor has somewhat of a sharp and uneven edge all around, just felt super cheap. The cushions below my ears have weird plastic backing which rubs against my ears super hard whenever I put the helmet off. And just the overall feel of all the plastic bits was increadibly increadibly bad.

I agree, man. I'm new and in my mid-thirties so I was afraid to bust my head getting started with this. I have a family and career. I'm just doing this for fun. I spent an excessive amount of time researching helmets and certifications. After returning 4 other helmets, I drove an hour and a half to get an X15. I believe this is the best helmet available in the US.

Damn. I ride a Ducati Streetfighter. My shoei is great but it does not like speed. Anywhere north of 130 and it buffets so bad you literally can't see. At 150 it's just dangerous. (No windshield problems). And everyone said the R10 is brilliant with cutting through wind but, I also don't want a super loud helmet either. thanks for the response!!

I'm a hardcore longtime Shoei user. BUT, the R10 helmet is so esthetically beautiful I had to purchase one. My RF-1400 fits me like a glove and i continue to wear it around the city and for lower speed rides. The Shoei does tend to have buffering issues above 80mph that is very distracting. My commute to work is about 15 miles on the I5 (California, Orange County) and the car pool lane typically travels between 80 to 100 mph. The R10 with the race spoiler is completely stable at 120 mph (can't vouch for any speeds faster personally, and this was on a closed course highway in Mexico, lol). A major concern is that Alpinestar being a Italian company, has chosen to mass produce this helmet at a premium cost that other Italian companies still design, engineer and hand-make their helmets in Italy. It's no secret that Alpinestar and all the head honchos live and work in Torrance California area, outsourcing most all of their products to China. This leverages the Alpinestar name to maximize profits utilizing potentially unhumanistic and questionable cheap labor. They maintain a "design" office in Asolo, Italy, but i believe this only supports the major European race efforts. i couldn't resist the pull of the R10. Hopefully i won't regret it.

I preordered the same design a long time ago, its finally at the dealership while i'm on vacation/trip, and i think the fact that it says "professional helmet" on this design is pretty obnoxious/ridiculous/stupid. Thinking about maybe getting the solid carbon instead because of that stupid writing. Is it significantly louder than rf-1400? My arai quantum x was ridiculously loud and not aerodynamic at all. Rf-1400 is decent with shoei pfs, except i can't use a chinbar in it because it's totally suffocating and hot as hell with it. Guess we'll see if medium fits like shoei does, gt-air could be small for me, quantum x was definitely small since it actually matched the round shape of my head.

Fuck yes dude I hate that shit I’m cool with the logo but not the whole alpine star in writing all around but it’s ALOT louder than the shoei rf-1400 and the x-15 fits better in a medium then a shoei 1400 medium
