Awesome questions @betatoast2271, I'm not sure what you mean by long term...the next few years...hard to say as scooters haven't been around a long long time yet...but 2-5 years I would expect it would be fine :) Niu make solid scooters but if you have rougher roads or hills and you're 260 then I would look at the Apollo City dual motor...I've done lots of reviews on it :) love it :)

Hello and thank-you for you very good video, I don't know when you produced this video but I am posting this message to let you know that you can get this bike in Canada since a few weeks ago. I bought mine a few weeks ago and it is the same color as you show in your video, beautiful color. What a great bike, I am not no ebike expert but to me I have the same results as you mentioned, this bike is perfect for my needs. One thing I think you forgot to say is that the bike comes in 2 sizes for shorter or taller people. Have a great day!😄

Hey Tim, Thanks so much for the video, love all your videos and work, great info. I wanted to ask, as for this scooter, the drivetron, I wanted to know, do you NEED to download an app for it? Also, I'm about 15lbs. heavier than you... Should this scooter be fine with my weight? Also, I know what it says on the site, but I wanted to ask you, I am gonna get this for work commute... In your use of it, how long does the battery last, percentage wise, per mile? Sorry for so many questions, but it'll be my first 'real' scooter, and I want to make sure I get what I need. If it helps, I'll be traveling a total of 11 miles every day for work. If you could give me a remaining battery percentage for 11 miles (roughly) I'd be so grateful. Awesome to hear from you @christopherspalding6354,I don't have it anymore so can't do any actual tests for you sadly. But! It has a max weight of 400lbs....so 15lbs more than me is no problem :) I don't remember the app...did I use it on the video? It's been a minute and I don't even remember what I had for breakfast today...wait...I do...I haven't had breakfast yet :) It has a big battery so I would think 11miles would be fine...dual motor....60v (which is a lot) 24AH (so with quick maths about 1440WH) plenty of range.,,,for me I would think 25 miles without issue is what I would expect. I would bring a single charger with me...and only charge with the single charger. Honestly for the price...this thing is amazing value :) IMHO :) Cheers Tim p.s. My wife and I were in Alter-Ego in Abby yesterday and I was looking at the Fat PRO 3 and she the Step PRO 3, and while we haven't test ridden them yet, I think we're sold. I'm 6'2" and 280 and sitting on the FP3 it didn't disappear underneath me, lol.

I just got mine and it can't be understated just how large the scooter is in person. I've come from riding one of those 25kph scooters which now looks like a kids toy next to the apollo. I'm 6ft and the apollo makes me feel less masculine just standing next to it xD

How does the Torque sensor + Cadence sensor work? What is the max speed on throttle only? What size frame were you riding? (it looked too small for you) What size tires were on the one you rode? Can you tell us anything beyond what is already on their webpage?

Did much research, this video was super helpful. Got my 2023 City Pro 2 months ago, just hit 500 miles. Perfect for me. Being able to pick it up at Best Buy made the deal for me. I'm 80 and being able to get around the city without buying gas, the new mobility is a life changer. I wear full safety gear, old guys can't be too careful. Most comfortable 20 to 25, but have to run at 30+ a lot on city streets with traffic and no sidewalks. Went 25 miles once, app said I had 2 miles left, with a lot of 25-30 mph riding.

I used to have titan splach. Loved the lighting , It was amazing off-roading , but I always thought high speed handling was a bit off , sold it and bought a ghost and what a difference . Better climber , smoother throttle , and rides like you're standing on a cloud . I owned a Apollo phantom V2 as well , but handling and ride quality , nothing so far comes close to ghost

Hey Tim, sorry for posting this on an older review, but it's great getting the opinion of someone who's also tall for once -- for a college student traveling ~2 miles each way, would you recommend this over the ETWOW GT Sport? I'm tempted by the seemingly vastly superior portability of the latter, and I've heard it's a joy to ride.

One downside - no obvious place to lock. No wheels to go through, and the footplate handle loop looks detachable. I’ve found you really need a U lock, and to fit it I paired with an ortlieb bike fork carry bag (which attaches to the stem nicely). This means you don’t need to carry the U lock separately/have it rattling on the handlebars. I use the hiplock dx1000 U lock which is arguably overkill, but I got one apollo city stolen when I used just an Abus folding lock. Thank goodness for insurance.
