I bought the Apollo 2023 dual motor a few months ago on Tim's recommendation. Already have 2200KMs on it! It's amazing. Super smooth as well as powerful, and Tim is so right about the regen brakes. They're awesome! I almost never use the regular brakes. Thanks for all of your videos Tim, I never miss them. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and happy new year. Cheers, Andy

No joke...i love it....use it all the time...I added only one modification...better rain guards, but that's only because with the IP rating I can ride it in the rain which is unheard of with most scooters...plus it's so smooooooth

Hi, Phantom Question please…. I'm 6’4” at 275lbs. I am considering the Apollo Phantom V4 as the handlebar height and angle seems to fit the XXL's a bit better than many. I am concerned a bit with two things. The IP54 (not 66) as we do get good rain at times, and the tubed tires. Has you door dash friend in Victoria had any pinch flats or issues with water, as Victoria gets some decent rainfall also? I appreciate your videos. Be well.
@TimsElectric9 ай бұрын
Awesome questions @toddm3182, Love love the Phantom. Zero issues with the deliveries (1000kms and climbing) I was on it last week...so smoooooth :) No issues with flat tires...I hit 300lbs last summer (and when riding it had zero issues). Honestly my #2 scooter....I'm down to 265lbs again now but reach for the City all the time as I live in an apartment and carrying it up and down the stairs is easier for me :) But love the Phantom. I think you can get a discount if you use my link ...I'll go find it in case you buy from Apollo directly :) ...Let me know how you like it :) Cheers from a sunny day in Victoria :) Oh and no issues with the IP rating....it sure does rain a lot here in the winter :)

Vsett10+ since recently. Got myself slightly higher handlebars beside some modifications from the pre owner and its perfect I also nearly pulled the trigger on some Apollo scooters, but the Vsett was better value for its price
@TimsElectric8 ай бұрын
Awesome @harrison00xXx, as long as it's a good fit for you then you're all set :) Did you get the handlebars that curve up to add the height or a stem add on?
@harrison00xXx8 ай бұрын
@@TimsElectric yep, it had basic mtb style handlebars and i raised it a bit with a more curved handlebar. Im 1,97m tall and i really need the height, nearly got a Vsett11+ instead since its slighly higher handlebars. Which doesnt really fit my needs is speed (too much), torque (too much), and range (not enough). A stronger motor but single motor would have met my needs better, or just a slighly weaker motor/controller and more battery. suspension is superb, it glides like a mercedes with air suspension, it got (more than) enough power, feels great, safe and robust.
@TimsElectric8 ай бұрын
nicely done...I'm only 185cm and I have found a few scooters that the handlebars are too low for me....so at 197 you're going to find most I'm guessing :( Glad you found one that you were able to modify to your liking :)
@harrison00xXx8 ай бұрын
@@TimsElectric Vsett9+ with 45km/h would have fitted better, some random guy in germany converts the 9+ for something like 400€ with a pre filed special approval to register it and drive legally as if its a 45km/h moped, at least for DE, AT and CH it works. But 9+ was slightly too small and „weak“ for my taste, too much constant full throttle sessions.
@TimsElectric8 ай бұрын
I agree...the 9+ is too small for bigger people :) glad you found a good fit :)

Great question! I don’t mention prices because they can vary a lot depending on where you’re located and when you’re shopping (think sales events like Prime Day or Black Friday). Since my channel has an international audience, I want the info in my reviews to stay relevant no matter when or where you watch. 😊 That said, I always recommend checking the current price using the links in the description for the most up-to-date deals! 🚴♂️⚡ @JS-wi2ll

@@TimsElectric Hi Tim, I travel about 10km one way to work. It's a combination of one very long bus ride and a short subway ride. I can charge it at work (which is 9 hours).
